Our RSVPSs are NOT currently open as we are still working on establishing a timeline for the wedding day. A formal invitation will be sent at a future date. RSVPs are due by a date to be determined. If you’re attending the reception, please also select your meal choice online—it helps us stay organized and respond faster! If we haven’t received your RSVP by the future date to be determine, we’ll give you one friendly reminder call. If we still don’t hear from you, we’ll assume you’re unable to attend, and unfortunately, that means no seat or meal will be reserved for you. Thanks for understanding! What if I’m attending the Carroll Boys' Basketball Game and can only make it to the ceremony? We totally get it—Go Cougars! If you’re only able to attend the ceremony, please RSVP for the ceremony. For the reception, please RSVP no. Please let us know if you have any other questions!
There are two ways to RSVP: 1. Online (Preferred!) – Since you’re already here, why not take a few seconds to do it now? RSVPing through our wedding website is the fastest and easiest way, plus it helps us keep an accurate headcount right away. 2. By Mail – If you prefer the traditional route, you can mail back your RSVP card. Just please send it ASAP! If you’re mailing it but plan to attend, kindly give Sammi or Chris a quick heads-up so we can provide the chefs with an accurate meal count (and so Sammi can start her seating chart sooner rather than later). At the end of the day, your official RSVP—whether online or by mail—will determine your meal and seat. So make it count!
Your invitation will clearly state who is invited. In most cases, names will be listed. If your invite includes a plus-one, you’re welcome to bring an adult guest. If it doesn’t, we kindly ask that you fly solo this time. We are very close to capacity and have a plated meal with assigned seating. Unfortunately, if you bring an uninvited guest, they won’t have a meal or a chair—so let’s avoid that awkward situation altogether. Thanks for understanding!
Your invitation will clearly state who is invited, including meal choices listed by name. Due to the historic nature of our church (over 150 years old!) and the structured nature of our reception, we’ve limited guests under 12 to family, the wedding party, and a few additional invitees. If your children are invited, we kindly ask that you keep a close eye on them. If they become disruptive during the ceremony, we ask that you step outside until they’ve settled and can return quietly. During the reception, please ensure they aren’t wandering the venue or interrupting toasts and dances. We love you and your little ones, but weddings are long, and truthfully, they’ll probably have more fun at home. We appreciate your understanding—we’ve put so much time and effort into this day, and we just want to celebrate with as few hiccups as possible!
We ask that guests dress in semi-formal or cocktail attire. For men, a suit or dress slacks with a nice shirt is perfect. Women can wear a cocktail dress, pantsuit, or dress pants with a stylish top. Oh, and please, no Christmas sweaters. Now, about wearing white—simply put, please don’t. We kindly ask that you pick something that doesn’t include white. Thank you for understanding and helping us keep the focus where it belongs—on celebrating together!
Yes! The venue has a small parking lot, but there is also street parking available nearby. Additionally, we’ve arranged for guests to use the parking lot at St. Joseph Catholic Church, which is right across Monroe Street from the venue. It’s less than a five-minute walk, so you’ll be just a short stroll away from the celebration!
Yes! Our venue is a large church with an attached dining hall, separated by a short hallway. After dinner, we’ll kindly ask guests to move back to the sanctuary so the venue can begin preparations for another wedding the next day.
Please plan to arrive 20–30 minutes before the ceremony start time. We kindly ask that you don’t arrive earlier than 30 minutes before, as we’ll be finishing up photos and final preparations. Arriving on time helps ensure everything runs smoothly—especially dinner! Thanks for your cooperation!
We kindly ask that you put your phones away and be fully present with us during the ceremony. Our photographer will capture everything beautifully, and we can’t wait to share those special moments with you! You are welcome to take pictures during dinner and the celebrations after the ceremony. However, we kindly ask that you wait the next day before sharing any photos on social media with the bride and groom. We’d love to have the chance to announce our wedding first. Thank you for understanding—we appreciate it!
During cocktail hour, we’ll have a crostini bar for you to enjoy alongside drinks while we finish up family photos. Afterward, dinner will begin with a house salad with Italian dressing, served family style. For the main course, guests will choose from two adult entrée options and a kid-friendly option for those 8 and under. Entrées will include: Beef Bourguignon Tender, slow-roasted beef, mashed potatoes, and roasted carrots, served on a bed of rich scratch-mad gravy. This our gluten free option. Mile High Pork Chop Thick cut loin chop, coated in our famous house rub, pan-seared and topped with our house-made chimichurri, served with the well loved Parish House potatoes and green beans Children’s Option Chicken Tenders with a side of Mac and Cheese Meal selections will be made when you RSVP. We kindly ask that only guests age 8 and under select the children’s meal. Thank you for helping us plan accordingly!
Please reach out to Chris and Sammi as soon as possible. Since our meal is being prepared on a large scale, we cannot guarantee that there won’t be cross-contamination. However, if we’re informed in advance, we’ll do our best to work with the venue to accommodate your needs. Your safety is important to us, so please let us know as soon as possible!
No, we’ve chosen not to have an open bar since Chris and Sammi aren’t big drinkers. Instead, we’ve put that budget toward a delicious meal and desserts—trust us, it’s worth it! Water, lemonade, and tea will be provided with the meal. There will also be a cash bar available through the venue, so please come prepared and, of course, drink responsibly. Soft drinks will be available for purchase at the bar as well. We will not be toasting with champagne—just raise whatever’s in your glass and celebrate with us! Important: Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited. If any is found on the premises, you will be asked to leave by the venue and will not be allowed to return.
Delphi does not have hotels, but there are several Airbnbs in the area if you’d like to stay close. For hotels, we recommend: Coming from the west? Check out Lafayette or West Lafayette for plenty of options. Coming from the east? Kokomo has several hotels along your route. Other nearby options: Monticello has a Best Western, and Logansport has a Holiday Inn Express. Since the wedding is just five days before Christmas, we recommend booking sooner rather than later! If you’re staying through Sunday, December 21st, we’d love for you to join us at Crossroads Community Christian Church for their Candlelight Service at 7 PM—a beautiful way to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior.
Yes! We are registered with Amazon. Since we recently combined two households into one, we’re focusing on upgrading our well-loved, hand-me-down kitchen items. Additionally, because Sammi has severe allergies, we’re hoping for some extra bedding, linens, and pillows to help better manage dust and cat dander exposure. If you'd prefer, there will be a secure box at the venue for cards. We truly appreciate your generosity—thank you for helping us start this next chapter!
During the Union portion of the ceremony, the bride and groom will share communion as their first act as a married couple. This will be a private moment for them. Because both Sammi and Chris grew up practicing an open table, we will provide communion cups and wafers at the entrance of the venue. You are welcome to take one if you would like to participate.
Still have questions? Feel free to reach out to Chris or Sammi—we’re happy to help!
