Everyone is welcome—and encouraged—to join us for this relaxed get-together. Whether you're coming from out of town or live down the street, come for the drinks, stay for the laughs, and help us toast the start of a magical weekend! Drinks and some light snacks will be available for purchase. We intentionally chose an area with many food options to explore, so choose your own Denver food style! Saturday Hike

11:30 am - 1:30 pm

Our family loves being active and outdoors, so we welcome you to join us on an easy hike if you would like! This trail is a loop (vs. an out and back). It's 2.8miles with an estimated time of 1hr - 1.5hrs to walk. Just make sure it's taking you Castlewood Canyon State Park. **NOTE: Castlewood Canyon is a State Park and does charge a fee to enter per vehicle. Please plan to bring $10-15 in cash More about the trail: The trail winds through grasslands and montane shrublands before descending into the canyon. This descent takes you across Cherry Creek on a wooden bridge and through wooden steps. You'll cross a peaceful meadow bordered by pine trees along the way.

Commitment Ceremony & Celebration

The ceremony itself will begin at 2pm and should be about thirty minutes - feel free to arrive a little early to settle in! A Faerie Tea Party will immediately follow the ceremony - complete with a live band! Dinner will be served from 4pm to 5:30pm. The menu is reflective of our love for adventure and will honor as many dietary needs as possible (please let us know if you have any allergies or restrictions when you RSVP). After that... it's a dance party! We'll share the link to a collaborative playlist soon. We'll wrap up the evening with a Solstice Sendoff right around sunset (sometime around 8:30pm).
