When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Yolanda and Willie will be sending out formal wedding invitations in early June of 2019. At that time, they will give you further directions and deadlines for RSVPs. BUT PLEASE MAKE YOUR HOTEL RESERVATIONS NOW!!!!!

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

The couple will be having a Wishing Well Reception: If you were thinking of giving a gift to help the couple along their way, A gift of cash towards towards their future would really make their day However, if you prefer to purchase a gift, feel free to surprise them in your own special way. *Please visit the Registry Tab on this website for gift ideas.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The Perry Brown Wedding will begin promptly at 4:00 PM, August 31, 2019 at The Cotillion in Palatine, Illinois.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes!!! Dress to impress in your ALL BLACK/ Black Tie Attire. The couple is asking that all guests wear black formal wear with accents of white and/or silver.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Individual guests that have been allotted a date will be notified when formal wedding invitations are sent out in early June 2019.

This is an ADULT ONLY event, please make other arrangements for your children.

How far is the wedding, airport, train station, or bus station from the Guest Hotel?

*The wedding venue, The Cotillion, is located 11 minutes/ 6 miles miles from The Hilton Garden Inn Schamburg. *O'Hare International Airport is approx. 16 minutes/13 miles from The Hilton Garden Inn Schamburg. *Chicago International Airport is approx. 41 minutes/36 miles from The Hilton Garden Inn Schamburg. *Chicago Downtown Greyhound Bus Station is approx. 36 minutes/27 miles from The Hilton Garden Inn Schamburg. *Chicago's Union Station Amtrak Train Line is approx. 37 minutes/27 miles from The Hilton Garden Inn Schamburg.

Should I rent a car if I’m coming from out of town?

Answer

Yes, please rent a vehicle to allow you to move about the city freely. If renting a vehicle is not an option for you, please make arrangements to carpool with other wedding guests. Please, keep in mind that the bride and groom will not be available to provide transportation.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

If you may have a specific food allergy, please contact Yolanda and Willie and they will try to accommodate you.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is an overflow of parking at the wedding venue.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

For wedding guests staying at The Hilton Garden Inn Schamburg, transportation will be provide by Taxi 7 Shuttle Bus Services. Details will be in your hotel welcome bag.
