It will be very hot and the wedding is outdoors, so we recommend light-weight, breathable materials. The venue has cobble-stone and grass; please keep in mind when choosing footwear.
The ceremony will begin at 7:30 pm. Please arrive around 15-20 minutes prior. We will have shuttles from The Bold Type, Eramai, Moxy, and Achaia Beach hotels to and from the venue. Please check the schedule tab for shuttle times.
In Patras, there are three main modes of public transportation, all of which are economical and safe - light rail, taxi, or bus. The light rail will take you through downtown Patras and into the suburbs where many of the hotels, restaurants, bars, and beaches are. There is only one light rail line and it is very easy to navigate. Taxis are easy to find, especially in the busier areas, and can take you all around downtown Patras and the suburbs. Apple and Google Maps work well in Greece as a GPS service for either walking or driving. If you're leaving Patras, note that most smaller cities in Greece have convenient taxi services. If you're visiting Athens, you'll be able to use Uber or taxi, metro, or bus. There are also a lot of bus options between cities in Greece, like from Patras to Athens.
There will be shuttles between the venue and the Bold Type Hotel, Moxy Hotel, and Achaia Beach Hotel. The shuttle times can be found on the schedule tab. There will also be shuttles to and from each of the above hotels and the welcome party venue. We will also have taxis on standby to bring guests from the venue back to their hotel or rental. Please ask any of the staff at the venue and they will call a taxi for you. Your hotel can call a taxi for you to get to the venue and there are accessible taxis around Patras that you can flag down as well, especially if you are staying downtown. The venue has ample free parking with parking attendants.
