Maid of Honor
When I started attending Arcadia Local School, Zab had just transferred the same year for 6th grade. In 7th grade cheerleading, Zab and I became quick friends and have remained best friends ever since. Now we're inseparable and do everything together. She has been there for me in some of the most difficult situations and some of the best including our engagement! She is typically the mediator between Colton and I when we can't agree on something or need help in general.
Co-Maid of Honor
Similar to how I became friends with Zab, I met Stephanie in cheerleading as well. For the longest time, my mother (Jill) practically raised Stephanie. She was spending the night so often she even went grocery shopping with us and had her own food at our house. Despite Stephanie moving to Dayton, we have remained best friends. We talk as much as we can and we always pick up right where we left off.
Bridesmaid
When I started my new job at Arcadis, I was concerned I would never make friends with anyone. Thankfully, Cassie had just started a month earlier and was a Revit Drafter while I was a Microstation Drafter. We are so similar, everyone at work confuses us all the time and switches our names or talk to the wrong person. We've even been asked by strangers if we are twins. It gets really rough when one or the other takes a vacation day from work. We also are horrible influences for each other. We ruin each other's diets and convince ach other to binge new shows.
Bridesmaid
Brittany is the cousin of Zab Nye and we would see each other from time to time. We finally started to realize that we had a lot of common interests and she is always my breakfast and late dinner date. I can always count on her to bring the party and make me laugh. We've both exposed each other to new experiences and can typically count on each other to be there no matter what time of day.
Best Man
I met Mike in 6th grade at Glenwood where we started off as acquaintances but quickly became friends. Him and I shared a bond over video games and music. He introduced me to my love of Linkin Park which to this day is still one of my favorite bands. We typically would spend our weekends playing Halo until 5am and he became more of a brother than a friend. Nearly every weekend of my childhood was spent at his house to the point his mom considered me one of her own. He is always the life of the party and can put a smile on anyone's face.
Co-Best Man
I met Joe when I began working at Tokyo Steakhouse. We became quick friends bonding over our mutual love of Star Wars and DragonBall Z. He is my brother-in-arms in our local Viking group and he is my second in command. You might notice he lacks in confidence but makes up for it in his caring personality and will always make sure your day is going fantastic. We have seen every Star Wars together and continue to see every new Star Wars movie together. He is truly a brother to me.
Groomsman
Ben and I met in the 6th grade just like Mike. He was a quiet and shy kid until our 8th grade year when we visited Cedar Point. That was truly the first time I witnessed him opening up, laughing, joking, and just overall being a great guy to be around. He is honest to a fault which has led me to always seek wisdom and advice from him. He got me into different types of anime and music which I still watch and listen to to this day. He's family.
Groomsman
Carter and I met through Linny and Mike. When we first met, we really didn't get along but we eventually started talking about football and history. Even though he's a Detroit Lions fan, I decided to give him a chance and befriended him. We always watch the Lions vs Bears game and text each other throughout to either congratulate or hate on each. All in good fun though. To this day, we are still good friends. Da Bears!!!
