Brotherwell Brewing
Our favorite place. We're here every Friday night with our Waco family and have made countless memories celebrating everything from birthdays to new jobs and best of all... our engagement! We recommend the Wacotown IPA.
Pinewood Public House
We joke that we fell in love in the Pinewood Pub booths. We've spent countless hours here with amazing friends, good beer and lot of laughs. The pub has a rotating tap of delicious craft beer (usually featuring pours from several local breweries).
Sloane's - Waco
See "Our Story" on the home page for why Sloane's is special to us :) Sloane's is a trendy cocktail bar with unbeatable vibes and delicious drinks. Colton used to work here and it's just 5 minutes from the venue!
Balcones Distilling
Balcones is an award-winning distillery based right here in Waco! You can take a distillery tour or sit and have a drink in the taproom. We both love the Texas Single Malt! Colton also recommends Baby Blue and Kailey recommends the Texas Rye.
Pinewood Coffee Bar
The best coffee in town!! Whether you're in the cafe enjoying a cup of the Rover house coffee, or in the courtyard sipping on a latte, you won't be disappointed. Seriously, Pinewood is a must.
Dichotomy Coffee & Spirits
We went here on our first date... needless to say, the date went well ;) Dichotomy is a coffee shop during the day and cocktail bar at night! Their lattes are delicious, and they make a killer old fashioned.
Clay Pot Restaurant
Kailey's all-time favorite restaurant! Clay Pot is a delicious Vietnamese restaurant that has been a Waco staple for years! Kailey recommends the Stan Clay Pot and Colton recommends the Pineapple Fried Rice.
The Ranchito#5 waco
Our favorite Mexican food in town! We eat at Ranchito weekly... and that's not a joke. Truly everything on the menu is amazing and the margs are 10/10!!!
Di Campli’s Italian Ristorante
A super yummy Italian restaurant and a great date spot! The Gnocchi and and Linguine Al Pesto are our faves. We'd recommend making reservations if you can.
Slow Rise on the Brazos
Pizza pizza pizza!! Slow Rise has two locations, one right on the Brazos River with tons of scenic outdoor seating and one in Woodway. The pizzas are pretty big, but you can order whole pies or by the slice!
Southern Roots Brewing Co.
A brewery and pizza place all in one! Southern Roots usually has live music, ample seating a wide variety of pizzas and craft beer on tap. Located right downtown!
Milo
Milo is a vibe. They've got everything from brunch to appetizers, dinner and yummy cocktails! Located in Downtown close to everything, with a fun patio. We'd recommend making a reservation!
Alpha Omega Grill & Bakery
Incredible Mediterranean joint serving a variety of gyro sandwiches, fresh pita and mezze platters. Their Greek Feta Fries are to die for!
Harvest on 25th
A ton of healthy, vegan and gluten free options that are truly SO GOOD. Only open for breakfast and lunch and they get busier the later it gets, so we'd recommend getting an earlier start!
Cafe Cappuccino
Classic breakfast place with pancakes the size of your face. There are two locations! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
Lolita's Restaurante
Waco takes breakfast tacos very seriously, but we think Lolita's is the best in town.
George’s Restaurant Bar & Catering
George's has been a Waco staple for nearly 80 years! The menu is huge and offers an array of American and southern-style food. The fan favorite? George's chicken fried steak and a Big O Margarita!
Helberg Barbecue
Helberg Barbecue is about 15 minutes outside of Waco but offers the best barbecue around.
Cameron Park Zoo
Cameron Park Zoo is so much fun and we think pretty unique from other zoos! We definitely recommend checking it out.
Cameron Park
Cameron Park is one of the largest municipal parks in Texas! It's located right next door to downtown and the Brazos River, and has acres of towering trees and beautiful walking trails.

Waco Downtown Farmers Market
The Market is open every Saturday from 9:00am to 1:00pm featuring the best local agricultural producers and artisan vendors within 150-miles of Waco.
Magnolia Market at the Silos
You all probably already have this on your list anyways ;) The Magnolia Market at the Silos has tons of local vendors from cute shops to delicious food trucks.

Dr Pepper Museum
The Dr Pepper Museum is a super fun gallery and museum examining the history of soft drinks and Waco in a 1906 bottling plant. You can even make your own DP!
