This is going to be an expensive trip. Totally worth it... but expensive. With that in mind, we are discouraging gifts. We value *presence* over *presents* – and no apologies will be issued for the bad pun.
That said, we also know some folks won't take no for an answer. Others will be unable to attend, and would like the opportunity to congratulate and support us in a more traditional sense. For those kind-and-generous-to-a-fault souls, we've set up a fund to support our ongoing home renovations.
Truth is, we've been cohabitating for four years already, so we have all the house *stuff* we need. We also bought a fixer-upper last year and it still needs a LOT of love. Your gift will help to offset renovation costs to continue building the home of our dreams – specifically a master suite conversion! – one crusty paint roll and one asbestos respirator at a time.
But – and we feel it's important to end on this note – we do NOT expect a single cent from anyone. With love!
