Medicine Bow National Forest
About a 45 minute drive from Laramie up into the mountains. It has breathtaking views of the Snowy Mountain Range and several water spots for fishing! It's even just a nice day drive. There are also plenty of hiking trails.
Vedauwoo
A secluded hiking and exploring oasis! With unique rock formations, aspen groves and surrounded by open sky plains. It is located 20 miles east of Laramie towards Cheyenne.
Curt Gowdy State Park
Hiking, fishing and water activities are abundant here! Including a beautiful hike to hidden falls. $10 entry and about 20 miles east of Laramie.

Cute coffee shop with delicious sandwiches and pastries as well! Locations downtown and near Hilton Garden Hotel.
