What should I wear to the wedding?

What is Beach Formal? This suggests an elegant beach wedding—so dress to impress, but also dress for the elements (sun, sand, and water). Anything you'd wear to a nice restaurant on a summer night is appropriate. He should wear: A summer suit with a linen shirt (no ties required), linen pants (or khakis) and sandals. She should wear: A formal summer sundress at tea or knee length with flat sandals. Makeup and hair can be natural.

Do you recommend renting a car?

While Marco Island is relatively small, we recommend renting a car to get to and from places as Uber’s and Lyft’s are in short supply on the island.

How do I get to and from the wedding?

Answer

Getting around the island is easy, you just need to give yourself plenty of time to do so if you're traveling by cab or Uber. (CALL AHEAD!) On the day of the wedding, we recommend taking a cab or Uber to the JW Marriott Marco Island. A few great island cab companies include A CARR Transportation, A-Ok Transportation, and Classic Transportation. You can find links to their websites plus other pertinent information under the "Stay + Travel" tab on this site. We will provide complimentary shuttle service back to your hotel, condo, house, etc. from 11 PM through 1 AM. *The shuttle only applies to those staying on Marco Island*
