What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues? Are they wheelchair accessible?

Answer

The ceremony & reception will be at The Oliver Building (1321 13th St, Kansas City, MO 64102). Look for the marquee sign with our names on it and the parking attendants present will point you in the right direction. The Oliver Building is wheelchair accessible with ramps and elevators.

What is the easiest way to get to and from The Oliver Building?

Answer

There is a large parking lot if you choose to drive. However, if you plan to drink please plan of utilizing Uber or Lift.

Will Your Wedding Be Indoors or Outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will be indoors.

What is the Dress Code for our Wedding?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail garden party! A suit or a dress shirt with a tie is suggested. A midi-, knee-length, maxi- dress or dressy separates are also welcomed!

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Because of limited venue space, we unfortunately can't accommodate plus-ones beyond those named on the wedding invitation. We hope you understand our decision.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

We love your little ones! Children who are invited will be specifically noted on the invitation. For those attending with kids, we’re happy to share that there will be kid-friendly activities to keep them entertained, as well as babysitting services available during the reception. If you have any questions or need more details, please don’t hesitate to reach out!

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

We will serve a chips and salsa bar during cocktail hour followed by a taco bar buffet at a the reception! The taco bar is 100% gluten free. There is no added animal products to any entrée items besides the meat itself (the rice and beans are not made with butter or chicken stock). NONE of the food is cooked with any nuts, nut oils, or fish.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

There will be an open bar! Please drink responsibly and utilize Uber or Lift to return home if necessary. We will also provide a mocktail for those who wish not to drink.

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Having you attend our wedding is the greatest gift of all, so don't feel pressured to give a gift. However, if you're looking for wedding gift ideas, we've registered here for items on our website under the "Registry" tab.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to 3300 W 50th Terrace, Roeland Park, KS 66205. A wedding card box and place for gifts will also be at our reception.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the ceremony to ensure you have time to be seated prior to the start.

What time will your wedding reception end? Is there an after-party?

Answer

The reception will end at 11:00pm! If you're not done partying yet, join us a block away at The Ship!

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

There will be an hour-and-a-half time gap between the ceremony and reception, but no need to worry! A cocktail hour will be hosted during this time in a separate room within The Oliver Building. You won’t need to leave the venue—just relax, mingle, and enjoy!
