Coronado Island is a great place to explore in San Diego. It is a short 25 minute drive from the hotel over the famous Coronado bridge or a quick ferry ride from downtown San Diego. Visit the Hotel Del for beach front cocktails or hang out on the sand and watch the navel planes land at the base (perfect for any Top Gun fans). We also love renting bikes and cruising through the neighborhood or visiting Coronado Brewing on Orange Ave.
We had so much fun here with Maggie, Dave, Nisha and Aunt Terry!
Visit the seals, explore the cove (on foot or by kayak!) and grab a cocktail at the Hotel Valencia ("the Pink Lady").
