Question

What are your COVID precautions?

Answer

Your health and safety are of the utmost importance to us. Due to the Delta variant and recent rises in cases across the country, we have decided to require that all guests provide proof of full vaccination in order to attend our wedding. This is to ensure the safety of all guests and event staff. While this may seem like a pain in the butt, we assure you that contracting COVID would be a far greater nuisance. Proof of vaccination can be provided in person the day of the wedding, or ahead of time via our wedding email address. Additionally, mask mandates are currently in effect throughout the state of Massachusetts. Our venue follows the policy of the city of Boston, which has carved out exemptions for private events. Since everyone attending our event will be fully vaccinated, our venue will not be enforcing masks and we invite you to mask up to your comfort level. We thank you in advance for your cooperation in helping us keep our event and all of our guests safe and healthy.

Question

What do you consider proof of full vaccination?

Answer

Great question! First, you can send an electronic record or photo of your vaccine card to lynaghwedding11621@gmail.com by November 4th to avoid having to admit to screening upon arrival at the wedding. If you prefer to wait until the day of, you have a few options: If you have the ability to carry your CDC card with you and bring it to the event, that works! Because the cards are awkwardly sized we totally understand that this may not be feasible for everyone. In the absence of the actual card, we will accept photos of your CDC card which you can pull up on your smartphone. Both iPhones and Android phones have the ability to scan documents to be stored in the phone itself, which is also a great option. As a reminder, you will not be permitted to enter the wedding without showing proof of full vaccination. We thank you in advance for your cooperation in keeping our wedding from becoming a super spreader event.

Question

What if I can't attend your wedding?

Answer

We understand that the pandemic has made getting together and traveling more difficult for everyone, and if you are unable to join us on November 6th we completely understand! Because so many of the people we love cannot be with us in person, we will be live streaming the ceremony over Zoom beginning at 4:30pm. We invite you to sign in to watch our ceremony and celebrate with us from afar! Visit our Schedule page for more information including the link for the virtual event.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We would love to see your entire families, but unfortunately our venue does have capacity restrictions. We are therefore limiting our guest list to anyone 21 and over.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We refer you to the "registry" tab of our wedding website.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, within reason. Our caterer is fantastic and everything is made entirely from scratch, so they have assured us that all we have to do is let them know where you're sitting and they will be able to accommodate your dietary needs. Please remember that not liking something and not being able to eat something without becoming physically ill are not the same thing.

Question

I'm not familiar with the Boston area.

Answer

This is a statement, not a question. But fear not, the T very easy to use. Please see the "things to do" tab of our website for recommendations on activities to keep you occupied and transportation recommendations.
