The Wedding Website of Olivia Paulson and Collin Conway
Since virtually everyone will be traveling to Barcelona from out of the country, we wanted to make sure to provide travel recommendations. Please see the below sections for everything from which airport you should plan to fly into to which documents are required to enter Spain.

Travel Note

Passport Requirement

As you prepare for our unforgettable celebration in Spain, we want to ensure your travel arrangements go smoothly. Please note that all guests traveling to Spain will require a valid passport. Please remember!!!! Your passport must be valid until three months after the planned date of departure from the Schengen territory (most likely the date you leave Europe), and must have been issued during the ten years immediately before the date of entry. If you do not currently own a passport, we kindly ask that you apply for one as soon as possible to avoid any last-minute complications.

Flight

Barcelona (BCN)

We recommend flying into the Barcelona airport (BCN). There are many international flights available from the US. In general, try to book your flight as early as possible as prices typically rise as you get within six months of your travel date. Two websites we recommend looking at to compare airlines and prices are: https://www.google.com/travel/flights https://www.skyscanner.com/

Hotel

Hotel Recommendations

As room blocks are not common in Spain, we have done research on several hotels in the Sitges area that are all walking distance from the welcome reception and the shuttle pickup spot. We recommended staying near Sitges if you do not plan to rent a car, as it is easily accessible by public transportation and near where the shuttles to events will pick up and drop off. There are many other options in the area, but our recommendations include: Hotel Calipolis (4*) - https://www.hotelcalipolis.com/ Hotel Medium Sitges (3*) - https://www.mediumhoteles.com/hotel-medium-sitges-park/ Divino Hotel (3*) - https://divinohotel.es/ Hotel El Xalet (2*) - https://www.elxalet.com/

Shuttle

Shuttles

October 13, 2025 12:00 am

We will be providing shuttles for both the Barbecue and the Wedding Day. For the Barbecue, they will pick guests up at Passeig de Vilanova, 8, 08870 Sitges, Barcelona, Spain (in front of the hairdresser salon) at 2pm to take them to the mansion*, and return from the mansion to that same point in Sitges at 6pm. For the wedding day, the shuttle will pick guests up at Passeig de Vilanova, 8, 08870 Sitges, Barcelona, Spain (in front of the hairdresser salon) at 4pm, and make two return trips from the wedding venue at 10pm and 12am. Please note that the second shuttle will also include a stop at Masia Cal Simo for the wedding party. *Please note that there will be a five minute walk from the bus drop off point at the mansion to the main building.

Train

Public Transportation to Sitges

We recommend most guests stay in Sitges as it is significantly closer to all three events we are hosting. To travel from Barcelona to Sitges, you have several convenient transportation options: Train The Rodalies R2 Sud line runs from Barcelona Sants, Passeig de Gràcia, and Estació de França to Sitges approximately every 10-20 minutes. The journey takes about 40 minutes, and a one-way ticket costs €4.60. You can buy tickets at ticket machines in Sants, Passeig de Gràcia, or Estació de França stations, online via the Renfe website or app, or at the ticket counter in major train stations. Bus The MonBus (Bus Garraf) operates between Barcelona (Plaça Espanya or Ronda Universitat) and Sitges, with a travel time of 45-55 minutes depending on traffic. Tickets cost €4.50-€8, depending on the route. You can buy tickets directly from the bus driver (cash or contactless payment), online via the MonBus website, or at ticket offices in some stations. Taxi A taxi from Barcelona to Sitges costs €50-60, with a travel time of 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. You can find taxis at official ranks or book via apps like Free Now or Cabify. Private Transfers For a more comfortable option, private transfers from Barcelona Airport or the city center to Sitges start at €56. Services like Welcome Pickups and Suntransfers offer pre-booked rides.

Rental Car

Rental Cars

There are a wide variety of rental car companies in Barcelona, with incredibly affordable prices. Just be sure to indicate that you want a car with an automatic transmission, as many Europeans typically drive manual cars. While we have previously chosen to work with Kayak, you can also consider getting quotes from: Expedia Priceline Hertz and many more.
