Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

We love your children! But, other than the kids from our family that are involved in the weekend, our wedding will be an adults only occasion.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate guests not indicated in the invitation. Rest assured that you will be seated with people you know!

Can I take pictures?

Answer

Our ceremony will be unplugged (aka no phones or cameras) as we want our families and friends to be completely present and not in their screens! There will be an excellent photographer and we promise you'll have lots of great photos to share! You are welcome to take pictures at the reception.

The wedding location says Binghamton, NY so why is the chosen Hotel in New Milford, PA?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will be held at St. Patrick's church located in Binghamton, NY. The Wedding reception is about 35 minutes from the church in Susquehanna, PA. The nearest hotel to the reception venue is in New Milford, PA at the Holiday Inn Express where we will have a shuttle to and from the reception. It is only 16 minutes away from the reception venue. Please find all hotel information on the "Travel" page. We know asking you to drive to the ceremony in Binghamton and then back to the hotel in New Milford is a lot of travel and we appreciate you going above and beyond for our special day!

Will there be a shuttle service for the wedding?

Answer

We ask that our guests find their own way to the ceremony at St. Patrick's church in Binghamton. We will, however, be offering a shuttle to and from the RECEPTION that will pick up at the Holiday Inn Express in New Milford, PA. Shuttles will leave the hotel for the reception at 4:40pm. Two shuttles will head back to the hotel leaving the reception: one at 10:30pm and the last at 12am. We thank you for making the accommodations necessary to get to and from the church in Binghamton, NY!

I have allergies, is that going to be a concern?

Answer

Our reception will be held at Longacre Farm Wedding Venue. If you have environmental or animal allergies we recommend taking allergy medication as needed. The barn is across the road from their shaggy cows and horses. Our puppy, Meadow might be making an appearance at the reception as well! If you have food allergies and are concerned about the meal options you will be able to let us know exactly what they are in your RSVP. Or if easier you may contact Joe or Kat directly and we will get it all figured out!

What happens between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

Our ceremony is scheduled from 1:45-2:45pm. The cocktail hour and reception begins at 5pm. We will have a shuttle taking guests from the Holiday Inn in New Milford to the reception at 4:40pm. Our guests are free to utilize the time between the ceremony and cocktail hour as they please. It takes 35 minutes to get to the Holiday Inn from the church so we recommend heading back to the hotel after the ceremony for a quick touch up of makeup or a power nap before catching the 4:40pm shuttle to the cocktail hour. If you are driving yourself to the reception and want to get the party started early and embrace walking around a casual town in formal attire, there are lots of cute bars right near St Patrick's church that anyone can have a cocktail or beer at before making their way to the reception by 5pm. We recommend the 205 dry speak easy! If you are driving independently to the reception it takes 36 minutes to get from the church to Longacre Farm Weddings where our reception is being held, so please plan accordingly!

Do I wear the same attire to the church AND reception?

Answer

Yes! Our attire for the day is Black Tie Optional! Kat can't be the ONLY one in a fancy dress! Think floor length dresses, suits & ties, formal jumpsuits or two piece sets. Colors and patterns are welcome! We would love for everyone to dress up with us to celebrate this momentous occasion and most importantly want everyone to have a great time and feel amazing in what they wear! We do not believe in gendering clothing so anyone may wear dresses and heels and anyone may wear suits and flats! Please note that our cocktail hour will be outdoors and our reception is inside of a barn with partial uneven flooring. If you are wearing heels we recommend a thicker heel for comfort and safety. Please consider a change of shoes for dancing if needed. We do NOT recommend walking barefoot on the natural wood floors of the barn.

Is there parking at both Venues?

Answer

Yes! St. Patrick's Church has a parking lot for guests and Longacre Farm also has parking on premises!
