Colleen and Brian met doing Jiu Jitsu. At the time Colleen was living in DC, and would visit Brian's school to train any time she was in town. They became friends. Brian supported Colleen in her Jiu Jitsu Journey from white belt to purple belt, giving her tips from afar and giving her private lessons when she was in town. Two years later, Colleen told Brian she was coming home for a wedding. When he asked if she needed a plus one. She turned him down. He tried one more time, asking Colleen to come over for a game night. She declined. In one final act of persistence (desperation?), Brian asked Colleen to come over for a housewarming party. Colleen agreed to come largely because Brian invited Sabrina, her dog, to attend as well. A few hours into the party, Colleen went to take Sabrina out, Brian offered to come "help." Colleen turned around to take Sabrina back inside only to find Brian standing behind her. She kissed him. They've been inseparable ever since.
