Groom
Tall, Dark, Handsome. Soon to be mine. Marshall was born in Arcadia, Florida to his parents Marshall Clark Sr and Tammy Foster, who still reside in FL with their spouses, Sheila Clark and Malcolm Foster Sr. He has a love for boxing, and still enjoys lifting weights. He now has gotten Colleen into the gym, which is a miracle. Marshall found success driving 18 wheelers, and started his own trucking company “Godspeed Transportation” in 2020. He was working out of Milwaukee (which is how I met this Florida native!) but since moving to Wisconsin he now drives for a local company, to be home every night with his soon-to-be wife and soon-to-be 7 children. He enjoys talking on the phone with friends and family, especially about The Most High God. He also loves to eat, a match made in Heaven ;)
Bride
Colleen was born in Auburn, Washington to her parents Kathleen O’Donnell and Patrick McCabe Jr. She lived in WA and OR most of her young life, spending 3 years in Austin, Texas before moving to Wisconsin at 18. Her Mom’s family is from Wisconsin and she moved to be closer to them, after falling in love with the Midwest during a visit up north. Colleen has been in the cosmetology field what seems like her (my) whole life. Six kids later, I finally decided that I needed to be my own boss, and boss up I did! I started Queen Bee Beauty, LLC in 2019 and enjoy working for myself and very close to our home so I can easily balance all the kids activities. My kids keep me on my toes, and I enjoy art, outdoors, and reading… one day I hope to publish a book. Don’t worry, I’ll change all your names.
Maid of Honor
Tiffany and Colleen have been cousins their whole lives. Ha ha ha. But it wasn’t until Colleen moved to Wisconsin and after Tiffany became an adult that their friendship really bloomed. Tiffany is a lotttt younger than Colleen, although you’d never guess it because I look so young. I mean Colleen looks so young. Wait am I supposed to write this in first or third person? Oh well… Tiffany has been there for me through a lot of my adult life, and always had a shoulder to lean on and a helping hand. Watching her get married before me stung a little hahhahaha totally kidding but being her maid of honor was one of the best experiences in my life. When she walked down the isle to her amazing husband it made me believe for the first time that maybe I wanted to get married too. And here I am!
Bridesmaid
Bridgette and Colleen met in 2008 at a bar. Classic. It was totally meant to be because right away they (we… this is weird) became the best of friends. Over the years we have been there for each other through relationships, kids, births, deaths, college, careers, and everything in between. The worst of times, and now the best of times… our friendship has been a constant piece of my heart. I don’t know what I would have done without her all these years.
Bridesmaid
Kala and Colleen were neighbors for almost a decade. Our days were filled with trips to the park, zoo, long bike rides and days at the lakes. I often made extra food hoping to entice Kala into coming over for dinner, so I’d have someone over the age of 5 to talk to hahaha. We’ve been through it all, and Kala was and is a huge part of the memories our kids and I will have of growing up. May the memories continue until we are old and gray!
Best Man
George and Marshall met 3000 miles away from the state they both called home in 1999. Coalinga, CA was a place where football and each other were all they had. A life long friendship was created. George literally saved Marshall's life. Earning him the title of "Best Man" Now even their children have had the opportunity to become great friends as well.
Groomsman
Robert and Marshall also met in the same small town of Coalinga, CA in 1999. A bond was created on the field and off. They lost touch for around 15 years with Robert being from Chicago. In that time both boys became men. Reuniting with the common goal of living for The Most High God.
Groomsman
Last but definitely not least, Jared. Marshall and Jared met in Cocoa, Fl in 8th grade. As one of Marshall's longest friends he has seen the good, the bad, and the really ugly. The Good Guy Marshall grew to be. The Bad guy I thought I was (hard to do 3rd person here lol). The ugly guy, who has changed with the help of The Most High God. Jared was also present in Coalinga CA. Through football all four of us became the best of friends.
Daughter of the Bride
Kya is Colleen’s oldest daughter. She is 16 years old and loves to make money (she’s a hard worker!) and paint. She is a talented artist, environmentalist, human rights activist, member of the Black Student Union at her High School, and dreams of becoming a lawyer.
Daughter of the Bride
Kaleelah is the second born daughter of Colleen, and will be 15 at the time of the wedding. She has followed in her Mom’s footsteps with a love of makeup, hair, nails, and fashion. She also loves animals, is a member of the Black Student Union, and has talked about dreams of becoming a veterinarian or a surgeon.
Son of the Bride
Junior is the only born son of Colleen, and he enjoys playing games and all things science. His brain retains information like a computer, he’d be hard to beat at Trivia. He could easily grow up to be a computer programmer, but he’s not ready to commit just yet lol. He will turn 14 shortly after the wedding.
Daughter of the Bride
Charleen will turn 12 shortly after the wedding, but this girl is the best babysitter on the planet already! She cooks, cleans, gives baths, does hair, even takes the kids on walks to the park. She loves gymnastics, and enjoys reading and writing (like her mom) and she should definitely pursue a career in writing… she’s got talent!
Son of the Groom
Kingston will turn 9 shortly after the wedding, and he is (WAS!) Marshall’s only child. He spends his time outside playing any sport you can think of! He loves baseball, football, swimming, fishing and riding his bike. He loves to catch frogs and other critters with his new siblings and bring them in the house lol!
Daughter of the Bride
Kobee will be 7 a week after the wedding. She is Colleen’s second youngest daughter but now she is all about Marshall like Mom doesn’t exist hahaha. She loves to bring critters in the house with her new brother Kingston, and she also loves everything outdoors. She is a very gifted artist, I am always in awe of her detail and accuracy in her artwork.
Daughter of the Bride
Valencia is the baby of the family, at 4 years old. She is also the number one fan of Marshall. She enjoys getting her way all the time, and is obsessed with dogs. She thinks our dog is her personal play toy. They are the best of friends. If you hear her throwing a fit at any time during the wedding, we apologize. We are working on that hahahah.
