We met and fell in love the summer of 1981, somewhere in the Midwest, while competing with the Guardsmen Drum & Bugle Corp. We traveled the United States and Canada together that summer. Johnny was from Texas and Frieda was from Illinois. After an amazing summer that concluded at the Drum Corp Championship in Canada, Johnny returned to Texas and Frieda returned to Illinois. Over the years we searched for each other, with no success, until 7 years ago when someone organized a Guardsmen Drum & Bugle Corp Reunion. We started talking again in April of 2017 and have been together ever since. We are still madly in love with each other and are enjoying life's many blissful adventures together!
