No, both the ceremony and reception will be adult only events.
The invitation will specify who is invited. If your invitation says "and Guest", then yes! Otherwise, we'd prefer if it was just you.
Formal. Suits and cocktail dresses are welcome, as are tuxes and gowns.
We’ve reserved two hotel blocks: the Embassy Suites (Hilton) in Springfield and the Residence Inn (Marriott) at Springfield/Old Keene Mill. There are a limited number of rooms available in each room block. However, let us know if you can't book a room and we will see if the hotel can add more. Check out the TRAVEL page to find out how to reserve your room by September 4th. NOTE: We encourage you to book outside our room blocks if you can find lower rates at these hotels. Check AAA or company discounts.
Both hotels offer free parking, and there's plenty of free parking at our venue. You are also able to leave your car parked overnight at the venue - so please no drinking and driving! You can pickup your car the next morning when Occoquan Regional Park opens at dawn.
Absolutely! Please let us know as soon as possible so we can try and arrange with the caterer. The wedding will be peanut and tree nut free though!
Our wedding is at the River View at the Jean R. Packard Center, which is within Occoquan Regional Park. Checkout the historic beehive brick kiln which made many of the red bricks used in Northern Virginia and DC! You can also learn about John Smith's exploration on the Occoquan River and Chesapeake Bay.
The ceremony will start promptly at 5pm, so please arrive a little before to find a seat!
We are having an "unplugged" ceremony, so please leave the photos and videos to the professionals!
