Aeroporto Humberto Delgado
The closest airport is Aeroporto Humberto Delgado (LIS). The airport is located 20 minutes away (driving) from Lisbon center and 30 min way driving from our wedding venue. Flying directly into Lisbon will be the easiest way in. Please book your flights sooner rather than later, as prices will increase. Midweek flights tend to be less expensive than flying on weekends. Direct flights from the east coast tend to be red-eyes. This is great because it means you get on the plane and can have a full(ish) night of sleep before waking up in Lisbon.
Rental Car
Uber? Sure. But Bolt is better!
Getting around Lisbon, Sintra, and anywhere else in Portugal can be very easy! Uber is available and affordable. There is also a European based company, Bolt, that is even better. The Lisbon subway is easy to navigate, as well as the various train, buses, and tram systems. Taxis are also very accessible in Lisbon.

Rental Car
Renting a Car?
The best place to rent a car in Lisbon is at the airport. We suggest specifying if you require an automatic car. Avoid electric cars, as it can be very complicated to find convenient charging stations. PLEASE NOTE: If you rent a car, do not plan to drive to the venue for the wedding. There is absolutely zero parking, and street parking is extremely limited. The streets are one-way and lack of parking will result in a 45 minute drive around the mountain to get back. We don't want you to miss the ceremony!
