Question

So, is this a destination wedding or an Austin wedding?

Answer

It's both! Our venue is close enough to downtown Austin (45 minutes away) that you could drive back that night, but we'd love for you to stay locally and enjoy the wonderful area!

Where can I stay?

Answer

There are options in the area via Airbnb. If you do not or cannot find in the Martindale area the cities of Lockhart and San Marcos will have a much larger selection including hotel options.

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We love kids, but have decided that our preference is for an adults-only wedding. If you're looking for child care, we can put you in touch with other guests who may be traveling with kids, in case you'd like to organize a group sitter!

I'm coming from out of town. Should I rent a car?

Answer

We recommend renting a car if you are unable to carpool (same goes for accommodation). Hotwire or rentalcars.com are good options, as well as the "Airbnb of car-sharing" Turo.

Is this a snobby, posh wedding or is this wedding going to take me to funkytown?

Answer

As if you had to ask! Bring your most groove-worthy dancing shoes and wear your wildest, brightest, most outrageous outfit, you beautiful peacock. If there's anything you've wanted to wear but never have, we hereby give you permission to own that sh*t.

What sort of weather can I expect?

Answer

Expect highs of 70-80 degrees Fahrenheit and lows overnight between 50-60. April is usually the nicest, most temperate month here!

I'm planning on bringing you a HUGE gift wrapped in an even bigger box, delivered in a Hummer.

We love you, we love your kindness, but we do not need material stuff. However, we adore going on adventures together, so visit the registry page and help send us off on one!

Answer

Olivia's highschool colors were gold and dark blue. Coincidentally, so were Cody's. When our venue was a functional school, guess what it's colors were? Yep, gold and dark blue.
