Taking the ferry to Bainbridge Island is the best way to see the Seattle skyline and (if you're in luck) Mt. Rainier from Elliott Bay. The ferry ride takes 30 minutes each way. Check out the WSDOT website (linked below) for ferry schedules and more information.

Just down the road from our wedding venue, the Ballards Locks have the busiest boat traffic of any locks in the United States. If you decide to visit the locks, make sure to take in the Carl S. English Jr. Botanical Gardens.

A pleasant place for a walk along the water next to Seattle's downtown area. This park is maintained by the Seattle Art Museum, which could be a nice alternative to the sculpture park if the weather is unpleasant.
