We understand health and safety concerns related to the pandemic. The ceremony will have mandatory masking, and masks will be available to guests who do not have one. All guests must be vaccinated in accordance with current CDC recommendations in place to attend. Additionally, our guest list is well under the capacity limits for our event space. Weather permitting, we plan to maximize ventilation by opening up the doors to the rooftop deck, and can set up cocktail tables outside for guests who would be more comfortable outdoors.
No, we don't have a formal dress code. We're looking at this event as a fancy dinner party, so dress how you feel comfortable in that setting.
All aspects of our wedding will take place at Hotel Ballard in Seattle. There is a paid lot underneath Hotel Ballard that is available on a first come, first serve basis. There are 55 spots and it is a pay-as-you-enter garage. In addition to street parking the venue also encourages parking at Swedish Hospital Ballard. It is also a paid lot with 400 spots.
The menu hasn't been finalized yet. Dinner will be served family style, with a variety of options. We will do our best to make sure that dietary preferences and sensitivities are considered when planning the meal. Please note that the restaurant kitchen does handle gluten, dairy, tree nuts, legumes, and other allergens and cannot provide a completely allergen-free environment for food preparation. If you want to share any dietary restrictions with us, please contact us directly.
Yes! Kids are welcome to attend all wedding events, give toasts, etc. If your children become restless or bored, we have booked a room a few steps away from the event space, and will have one or two professional childcare providers onsite to watch them.
