If at all possible, we are encouraging people to get a COVID test and limit your social gatherings within the 2 weeks before the wedding. We know we can’t control everything, but we’re trying to be cognizant of everyone’s health and safety. If there is a chance that you have been exposed to COVID in the weeks leading up to the wedding, we are requesting that you change your RSVP and stay home and join virtually (check out our Zoom link under the Schedule section!). We will have masks and hand sanitizer throughout the venue and we are also having the reception outside (bring your coats) to try to keep this wedding as safe as possible. Thank you for being understanding and patient during this insane time.
It's a Match! We met on Tinder (seriously) and after a few days of chatting, we met up for "a drink or two" at Doc's Wine & Food. We had a few Peroni's, moved on to appetizers, then some dinner and a bottle of wine, followed by more Peroni's. That first date ended up lasting five hours and at the end, we both knew we were in trouble. Before we had even left the table, date number two was on the calendar.
We were at the annual Five Oaks Lodge Memorial Day party and we took a canoe out onto the lake and Colin took a ring box out of his pocket. Meghan immediately began crying and kept saying "shut up." He- very carefully- got down on one knee and asked her to marry him (spoiler alert- Meghan said "yes"). We rowed back to the Lodge, and were met with friends and family cheering for us. We are so excited to start this new adventure and celebrate with our nearest and dearest. See you all in T-Town!
