Maid of Honor
Nicole is Laura's twin sister and best friend. Laura is so grateful to have grown up with a built in best friend. They are lucky enough to live just steps away from each other which has made Laura's move back to San Diego immensely easier. Nicole is one of Laura's biggest supporters. She feeds Laura when Colin is away and is always willing to have a movie night just the two of them. Nicole has always joked that they have "twin telepathy" and whether or not that is true, Laura knows that they have a bond that is unexplainable!!
Best Man
Kyle and Colin first met in Paramedic school in 2018. After Paramedic school Kyle and Colin went on to work with each other for 2 years at Lincolnwood Fire Department. Kyle and Colin shared a love for Craft beer, golfing and our dogs Logan and Max. Kyle is the most loyal person I've ever met, and has always been there for Colin whenever he needed him. Fun Fact about us, is that we’re those crazy people from Chicago that love Malort. And if you don't know what Malort is, just ask Kyle! He’ll gladly show you
Bridesmaid
Maddie and Laura have been friends since middle school. They played field hockey and lacrosse together all through high school and became inseparable. Maddie would spend many afternoons at the Kingkade's house between school and practices, so much so that she would go grocery shopping with the Kingkade's to make sure they had food she liked stocked at the house. They stayed friends through college, even though they went to different schools. Laura had the privilege of being Maddie's Maid of Honor at her wedding in 2016. Laura is grateful to have such a constant friend in her life, even through the years and distance.
Groomsman
Zach and Colin met at Lincolnwood Fire Department where they worked together for 2 years. Zach was Colin's preceptor and taught him everything he knows about being a paramedic. Even if Zach had to yell at Colin to get this point across. Zach is a father to two little girls, and Colin hopes to be as good of a father as he is one day. Zach has alway been that guy to have Colin's back no matter what the situation was. In the fire house, they come up with a lot of roofless nicknames, Zach happens to be Rosie, after Rosie O’Donnell.
Bridesmaid
Laura and Lizzie have been friends since Rancho del Rey Middle School. They had many laughs in Mr. White's 8th Grade science class. Their friendship stayed strong through high school and then college. Lizzie's laugh rivals no one and she lights up any room she walks in to. One thing Laura admires most about Lizzie is her ability to intentionally show up for her friends even from far distances. Lizzie used to send Laura weekly cards while Laura was in Chicago for medical school just as a way to make sure Laura still felt connected to her friends back home.
Groomsman
Mike is one of Colin's oldest friends. Mike and Colin became friends the old fashion way, they met when they were 17 years old playing sports at a local park. No matter where life has brought Mike and Colin, they have always continued to be great friends. Mike is another person that Colin truly looked up to since they were teenagers. The way that Mike loves his wife and kids is something that Colin has always cherished about Mike. Fun fact: they're also probably two of the biggest Cubs fans you’ll ever meet.

Laura and Ashleigh have been friends since middle school. Laura has always been impressed with Ashleigh's strength and determination in life. Ashleigh is the kind of friend that will drop everything she is doing to call you when you need someone to talk to, bring you coffee or to be a shoulder to cry on. Ashleigh has an unwavering ability to put people at ease. She is also always in for a dance party or a late night McDonalds run. Laura was grateful to stand by Ashleigh's side on her wedding day and to watch her become an incredible mom.

Ryan is Colin's cousin and his best friend. Ryan is truly the little brother Colin has always wanted. Growing up Colin was always annoyed that Ryan wanted to do everything he did, but now he cherishes all those moments. Growing up their families would hang out every weekend, going to car shows, going to Wisconsin to go on their boat, you name it they did it. Ryan is one of the sweetest, kind hearted person you’ll ever meet. Given the chance, Ryan would do anything for you. Fun fact: Ryan has a ridiculous Logo collection.
Bridesmaid
Laura and Sam met during the first few days of freshman year at UC Santa Barbara. They started out the year as great friends and ended up being roommates by the end of the year. They have many great memories in Santa Barbara, like nights downtown and sorority functions. One of Laura's favorite memories with Sam was their road trip from Santa Barbara to Denver. They drove for 3 days and stopped in Las Vegas and Vail, where Laura failed miserably at her first attempt skiing. Although Laura and Sam have some time in between their visits, they get back together as if nothing has changed.

Nick and Colin first met at Lincolnwood Fire department where they worked together for 2 years. Nick was someone that Colin truly looked up to and went to him with all of Colin's problems whether it was work related or life related. Nick was very kind and willing to give a helping hand whenever Colin needed it. Even though he’s short, Nick has a very big heart and Colin couldn't picture his special day without him. Fun fact about Nick is that his nickname is Otter.

Emma and Laura met towards the end of their first year of medical school while on a ski trip with friends. They became great friends quickly and got to sit at the forefront of each of their relationships. Emma and Laura became roommates during their third year of medical school, which is when Laura met Colin. She was there for all the conversations early on when Laura would come home talking about this cute fire fighter she was dating.

Michael and Colin first met on New Years Eve 2022 when Colin flew to San Diego to spend the holiday with Laura and her family. Michael is Colin's future brother in law and he couldn’t be more excited about it. Michael is someone that would legit run through a brick wall for you and Colin couldn’t imagine anyone else in his corner. Fun fact, Micheal’s is a big Alabama fan, even though Michigan is better #goBlue
Bridesmaid
Emily and Laura met in their first few weeks of medical school. Unfortunately they started medical school in the height of the covid-19 pandemic, but became great friends through the years. Emily and Laura had many nights during medical school where they would sit around to gossip or complain about medical school while eating Thai food and drink lots of wine. They have enjoyed going to country concerts together and driving to Milwaukee to see a Broadway show.

Colin and Jake first met each other 2 years ago when Jake and his, now wife, Lizzie came to Chicago to visit Colin and Laura. This is when Colin learned that he and Jake share a lot of similarities, from their love of baseball and craft beer and always being down for a fun night out. Even though Jake and Colin haven't been friends for long, Colin could not imagine this special day without Jake. Fun fact about Jake is that he makes a really good Patrick Swayze from Dirty Dancing, picking Colin up during one of their fun shenanigan night outs.
