When should I RSVP by?

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, then no. Also, if you RSVP'd that you were bringing a guest, then yes, and if you did not, then no.

Are kids invited?

Answer

Our wedding is a 21 and over event. We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! If childcare issues or the age of your child are going to prevent you from attending, please reach out to us! We obviously prefer your presence with children than your absence from our special day :)

When should we arrive in town?

Answer

This is a personal choice. Our wedding is on a Sunday, so you can come to town on Sunday if you like and either drive home that evening or find a place for the night. *It is a holiday weekend, so most places will have a requirement of at least two night minimum stay and some even have a three night minimum stay. So keep this in mind when planning. We will be arriving in Hood River on Friday. If you'd like to make it a long weekend, we would love it if you joined us and came to town on Friday. Join us for a welcome drink on Friday to kick off festivities.

What's the dress code

Cocktail casual. For individuals wearing dresses or with long hair and considering hair styles, I would keep in mind that Hood River is the wind surfing capital of the world and it will be windy until the sun goes down. So when considering skirt length keep in mind your undergarments :) Love you all

Where is the wedding?

Answer

We are getting married at 'The Orchard' located at 2124 Highway 35 Hood River, Oregon 97031 less than 10 minutes from downtown hood river, OR

What time does the Ceremony start?

Answer

4:30! The Ceremony and reception will be at the same location. The Orchard venue is located about 10 minutes from downtown Hood River. There is parking available at the venue and we will also be shuttling folk who don't want to drive. See details about shuttling service below

Is there a shuttle to ceremony?

Answer

Yes! A first student yellow bus will be picking guests up and driving them to the ceremony and will shuttle them back at the end of the night. The pick up location will be at Mt Hood Railroad at 110 Mt Hood Railroad St. Hood River, OR 97031. It is located just one block down from The Hood River Hotel. Ceremony starts at 4:30PM. There will be two pick up shuttle times available. The first shuttle will leave at 4PM and the second (and last shuttle) will leave approximately 20 minutes later. It will take less than 10 minute to drive to the venue from downtown Hood River. At the end of the night, the yellow bus will shuttle us back to Hood River Railroad. Shuttle rides home will start at 9:30PM and the last shuttle will leave at 10PM

Will there be parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! There will be plenty of parking at the venue. No overnight cars allowed. So if you plan on driving to the venue you will need to plan for driving your car at the end of the evening as well :)
