A veteran-owned business with super unique ciders that hosts Myke's Pizza, minutes away from the wedding venue in downtown Mesa. This is where Colin and Jess met for their third 1st date!
United Escapes of America - Mesa
This place is so cool. Four stories of escape rooms of all difficulties built with movie-quality props throughout a historic building in Downtown Mesa. Colin, Jess, and some friends barely found their way out of Lilith's Lair here.
Cornish Pasty Co
If you read the story of how they met, you might recognize this place. The couple still loves coming here. Colin recommends the Roast Beef Sarnie with their Bread and Butter. Jess recommends the Balsamic portobello with the sticky toffee pudding. There is truly something here for everyone. Find yourself away from Mesa but craving a pasty? Don't worry! There are multiple awesome locations throughout the area.
Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch
Need a break from wedding shenanigans and want to enjoy some desert scenery? This tiny oasis is tucked away in the city of Gilbert but still hosts some beautiful natural landscapes. Here, there are plenty of walking trails, ponds, and playgrounds to help everyone reset. (Psst, unlike the Desert Botanical Garden, this place is free!)
The Perch Brewery
If you're in the Chandler area, you've gotta check this place out. It's an outdoor brewery with a rooftop deck and some great eats! Colin and Jess had their very first date here, back in 2018! The restaurant's name comes from the feathered friends who reside here. Rescued parrots and birds of all shapes and sizes live here amongst the outdoor seating. (Don't worry, they're caged, no one will be sticking their beak in your IPA.)
Phoenix Art Museum
Go nerd out over some cool stuff! (We highly recommend Yayoi Kusama's Fireflies exhibit!)
