Our favorite place to grab a beer in Marquette. Colin's favorites are Six Sprocket & 51K and Hailee's favorites are Razzle Rabbits & North 3rd Street Stout.
Vango's Pizza & Cocktail Lounge
During the COVID-19 pandemic when restaurants did curbside pick-up, we would order wings and waffle fries (with extra ranch, of course), drive down to lower harbor and eat them in Colin's Ford Ranger. If you're lucky, there will be a freighter in the bay to watch as you eat!
Velodrome Coffee Company
Many of our Friday morning coffee dates were had here while in college. Every Friday, Colin would take Hailee out for coffee before dropping her off at the door for her ecology class.
231 West Patisserie
Another usual Friday morning coffee and pastry spot! Our recommendations are the 231 iced coffee and the Night Rider pastry.
Sugarloaf Mountain
A great place for a leisurely hike.
Presque Isle Park
Hailee and Colin would go for walks here in the winter and spring, right before dusk to watch the deer.
