We know that fall weather in the UP can be unpredictable, so we're asking everyone to dress comfortably and plan for the fall weather. However, since we have spent nearly two years planning and preparing for our big day, we would really love for everyone to dress up and feel great! To help you gauge what you should wear, we have "cocktail attire" listed as our "dress code". See below :) Cocktail attire is often described as "a balance between formal and casual, yet elegant and comfortable". Women are encouraged to wear a cocktail dress or pantsuit and men are encouraged to wear a suit and tie. We do ask that everyone refrain from athletic clothing, jeans/shorts, and flip flops. For more detailed examples, see this article ( https://www.brides.com/cocktail-attire-wedding-4844364 ).
We kindly ask that you RSVP electronically by September 2, 2024. If you cannot RSVP electronically, please text or call Alice Petosky at (906)-202-1611 with the name and number of all guests planning to attend.
If your children are listed on your invitation (or "and family"), then yes!
If your date or "guest" is listed on the invitation, yes!
We have reserved a block of hotel rooms at the Holiday Inn Express in Marquette, and have 20% discount codes as both Comfort Suites and Days Inn by Wyndham in Marquette. These hotels request that you reserve a room no later than August 1, 2024. Please see the "Travel" page on the website for hotel details. Don't forget to mention the Petosky/Hass Wedding at the time of booking to receive a discount.
YES! We have hired a private shuttle to ensure our guests are able to safely consume alcohol (if they choose) while they celebrate with us. Our biggest concern is the safety of our guests, and you are encouraged to use this service. A detailed shuttle schedule will be printed and placed in your hotel room for when you arrive, as well as posted at the venue. The shuttle will stop at all three hotels for pick-up and drop-off.
