Paul Bunyan Park
A small, quaint park on Lake Bemidji. Adjacent to downtown and has large statues of Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox! Visit the Bemidji Visitor Center to rent kayaks, paddleboards, or see some Paul Bunyan themed artifacts.
Lake Bemidji State Park
We took our engagement photos here! One of Minnesota's state parks with a "Hiking Club" trail. Includes a bog walk and great scenery. The hike itself is low-intensity if you want to go, we loved it! Bikes, kayaks, and canoes are also available to rent from the state park office.
Bemidji Sculpture Walk
Art appreciators can find dozens of conversation-sparking artworks in front of local boutiques, antique and sports shops as part of the Bemidji Downtown Sculpture Walk. Over 25 Sculptures and murals on public display year around throughout the downtown business area. Pick up a brochure and begin walking tour at Tourist Information Center. An online map is also available.

Go Biking Around the Lake or on the Paul Bunyan State Trail
Designated as a "Bicycle Friendly Community", easy, paved trails skirt Lake Bemidji, connect to downtown and Lake Bemidji State Park. NiceRide Bike Share rentals make exploring the area fun and easy. For a bike ride as legendary as its namesake, be sure to explore the Paul Bunyan State Trail, the longest continuously paved rail-trail in the country. The 115-mile trail begins at Bemidji State Park and extends all the way down to Crow Wing State Park in Brainerd. Bikes are also available for rent at Northern Cycles or Bemidji State Park.
Beltrami County History Center
The Beltrami County Historical Society delves into the area’s rich history from its earliest inhabitants and Ojibwe culture to the arrival of fur traders and loggers—and is located inside the historic Great Northern train depot.
Bemidji Town & Country Club Golf Course
A premier golfing destination along the north shores of Lake Bemidji. The beautiful 18-hole course welcomes golfers of all skill levels.
