The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30PM. We ask that all guests have arrived and are seated before we walk down the aisle.
In order for all guests to park and find seats at the venue, please arrive at the venue no later than 4:15PM. This assures you have plenty of time to find your seat and take an opportunity to mingle with other guests.
Our dress code is Semi-Formal. We would like our guests to dress nicely, but we do not expect black tie or formal wear. We do ask that guests refrain from wearing jeans, shorts, t-shirts, flip flops, or the color white. The ceremony will be held outside, rain or shine, so please pack an umbrella and dress accordingly. When choosing footwear, keep in mind there's uneven ground around the ceremony site.
There sure will be! The shuttle bus will pick up from the Country Inn & Suites, leaving promptly at 3:55 pm and arrive at the venue before the ceremony. The bus will return to the hotel at 9 pm, 10 pm, 11 pm, and 12 am. Look for the yellow school bus in the parking lot!
There are parking spaces available for all guests at the venue if you wish to drive. Alternatively, we also have a shuttle that will be running from The Country Inn & Suites before the ceremony and throughout the night after dinner.
Yes! You may park and leave your car at the venue overnight, however, it needs to be picked up by 10 am the following morning.
Yes! We will have a selection of complimentary drink options to choose from, including beer, wine and mixed cocktails. Our bartenders will be serving from the hours of 5:00pm to 11:30pm, and alcoholic beverages will be available to all guests above the age of 21 at our cocktail hour and reception!
NO. WE CANNOT EMPHASIZE THIS ENOUGH. We are under strict regulations from our venue. Any liquor consumed may only be served by a designated bartender, and we may face large fees if this rule is not followed!
Unless specifically indicated on your invitation envelope, we are unable to accommodate plus ones. For example, if you have a plus one, your address will be listed as "{Your name} & Guest." Alternatively, when you RSVP and type in your name, you will be able to see if you have a plus one! We want everyone to share in the celebration, and this will ensure that we are surrounded by our closest friends and family. We hope you understand!
While we love all the little ones in our lives, we're only able to welcome the children included on our guest list. We appreciate your understanding!
Lost and found items will be placed on the outside bar of the venue at the end of the evening for pickup the morning after the wedding between 10 am- 12 pm.
No! Just like her mom, Tessa is choosing to keep her last name as she loves the rich family history that comes along with it. She understands this means being at the end of the alphabet for the rest of her life and she's okay with that decision (not like Thorp would bump her much further up that list anyway). Colin's reason for not changing his last name is because "it's too much paperwork."
In order to get accurate head counts for our venue and our vendors, we need all guests to RSVP by August 8th, 2025. If we do not receive a response by this date, we unfortunately will have to assume you will not be in attendance, and you will be missed!
