What are my hotel options?

Are kids welcome?

We love the little ones but we'd love for the adults to enjoy a night out! Adults only please.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes! Transportation will be provided to and from the wedding. The bus will pick up from the J.W. Marriott downtown at 4:30 pm sharp.

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes there will be parking at the venue.

How far away is the venue from downtown Austin?

Answer

It's about a 15 minute drive. It's out in the Texas Hill Country which will offer a great scenic view should you plan to drive and park.

Is there a grocery store downtown?

Answer

We highly recommend stocking up on water, Gatorade, aspirin and of course snacks for post-wedding munchies. There's a CVS located on at the corner of 6th and Congress; walking distance from most of the hotels in Downtown Austin. We also recommend using the FAVOR app.

Can I bring a date?

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

What's the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail - to semi-formal please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.

Will there be an after party?

Answer

Ha, always... details will be announced at the reception!

Will there be a Sunday Funday?

Answer

While we would love to have a traditional Sunday Funday on Rainey Street with the NightOwls we just don't know if bars will be open at the time of our wedding. We still have something up our sleeves so please keep checking back for more details.

What precautions are you taking for COVID-19?

Answer

We greatly reduced the number of wedding guests to just our wedding party and immediate family. Rest assured that Austin Catering is also taking necessary precautions with their staff including the bartenders. At the ceremony/ reception there will be hand sanitizer on every table and masks will be provided if you don't bring your own. If there are any more questions or concerns regarding COVID-19 we want our guests to feel as safe and as comfortable as possible. Please contact Tyler or Marisa if you'd like to discuss further.

Will the venue be outside?

Answer

Yes and no. While the ceremony and dinner will take place outside dancing will be indoors. We will have heaters if it gets too chilly but definitely bring a jacket just in case and as always check the Austin weather forecast.
