What are you Covid-19 protocols?

Answer

PPE: Hand sanitizer and a place to wash hands will be readily available to guests. With everyone being vaccinated at our event and mask requirements lifted, guests no longer need to wear a mask at this event unless they would like to! Vaccinations: All guests at this time are fully vaccinated! Venue: This event will take place completely outside. Woo hoo! Symptoms: While we would love to have you join us for this event, if you don't feel well, please stay home. Thanks in advance for helping us make this event as safe as possible!

What should I do before the celebration on Saturday?

Answer

You are in luck, as there are SO many things to do in this area! You can take a hike in Sisters, drive up the McKenzie Highway for gorgeous views, get some delicious pizza from our favorite spot in Sisters, Boone Dog, journey around Bend, or head up Cascades Lakes Highway for some time at a lake. There's a lot to do!

Where will the wedding be held?

Answer

We are having our celebration at Rainshadow Organics farm in Sisters, Oregon instead of the originally planned Holiday Farms Resort. The farm is located at 71290 Holmes Rd, Sisters, OR 97759.

What's the dress code?

Answer

We ask that folks please wear dressy casual attire, and please note that this will be a completely outside wedding. We don't expect you to be dressed to the nines (plus heels may sink into the grass...) and encourage you to dress lightly for the weather.

Why did you change the original wedding?

Answer

We organized our original celebration prior to the pandemic and planned on having friends and family stay in large houses together, campers make use of communal bathrooms, hosting a potluck, squishing in on rafts together, and more super-spreader type of activites. With Covid still looming and recent wildfires in the area having burnt some of the accommodations in the area, we felt like having a three-day affair with so many adjustments having to be made was way too much to deal with (and very unsafe). We're keeping it simple with a single-day outdoor event close to home so that people can safely attend!

We ask that just you and your plus one (if denoted on your invitation) attend our small gathering. Thanks for understanding.

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.
