Colette and Allan met in Los Angeles in 2017, when Colette noticed a spiked yarmulke on a cute guy across the room. Allan didn't believe Colette was flirting with him for quite a while, of course. Eventually, Allan asked in the quietest, most timid voice possible if Colette wanted to be his girlfriend. Yes, Allan can be quiet, apparently. Their first official date was around Halloween and so they decided that, like the little goth kids at heart that they are, that Halloween would be their anniversary.

One thousand and one nights after their first "date" (Halloween), Allan set up a romantic French meal and insisted that Colette get dressed up. He then put on one of their mutual favorite musicals, "Twisted: The Untold Story of a Royal Vizier" and they cuddled up on the couch. Midway through a song, a proposal occurs. Colette finally realized as they were singing along together, "A thousand and one nights with you is not enough to spend. So let's make ours a story with no end." Colette was only able to squeak instead of say a proper "Yes," but did later confirm that she meant "Yes". This was the first and only time Allan has managed to surprise Colette.
