Yes! Guests who chose to stay off-site are welcome to all pre-wedding weekend events. We will have an indoor amenity room reserved on the 4th of July where you can leave bags, etc. if you wish, as well as use of outdoor spaces. There is a common lobby with bathrooms where you can change if needed. The Welcome Bonfire, 4th of July lake day, and BBQ will all be "open house" style so feel free to come and go as you please.
A personal vehicle is the best way to ensure ease of movability. There is also a 24/7 Taxi Service called Brainerd Taxi that will be available through the holiday weekend. There will not be any shuttle services.
The State of Minnesota sells beer, wine, and liquor at designated liquor stores only. All beer sold in standard Minnesota grocery stores, convenience stores, and gas stations is restricted to 3.2% (great if you prefer low % option). Spirits of Nisswa is just down the road from Nature Link and is open Friday and Saturday from 8 AM–10 PM There is a grocery store across the street called Schaefer's Foods if you want any additional food items for your cabin, hotel, or Airbnb. Please note that there is no food for sale on site at Nature Link, though we will be hosting light food and snack options for our guests throughout the weekend. A full dinner will be served at the wedding reception. Downtown Nisswa has a handful of restaurants.
Minnesota summers can be extremely pleasant during the day and can get chilly and buggy at night. It's always a good rule of thumb to plan on having a light layer for the evenings.
