The reason we specifically chose August 12th is because on August 12th in 2015, Cole and his best friend Jordan were in a horrible car accident and that day Jordan didn’t make it. As grateful as I am to still have Cole here today, knowing I get to marry him and love him for the rest of my life, I know how easily one specific date could easily make you despise that entire month. September 25th, 2020 my little brother unfortunately committed suicide and to this day I dread September. With Jordan’s parents permission first, we decided to attempt to make August a month to look forward to rather than dread its arrival. So not only did we choose August because I wanted that perfect fall-ish wedding weather, but also because it actually means something to us and I hope that everyone who attends understands that there will be three empty chairs specifically for Mykel, Jordan and of course my JoeyBugg.
