When Cole had reached out and messaged me saying “ You're cute asf sorry if ya have a boyfriend or anything but I had to tell ya” I almost ignored him and left him on read like the 10 other guys trying to make me change my mind. I had decided that I wasn’t going to date again until the kids were more grown because I didn’t want to keep bringing men in and out of their lives. But then I noticed he was mutual friends with Blake, and at the time Blake and I were roommates but he wasn’t home. I called him instantly to ask if Cole would be worth striking up a conversation with. Fortunately Blake had good things to say about him and as you can tell, we hit it off. When I finally introduced him to my kids, they clicked instantly. Seeing how amazing he was with them, how willing he was to help with them as much as he could..that’s when I knew he was the one. To find someone who could love my kids almost as much as I do was my biggest goal.
