Erika’s “the most organized person you’ll ever meet” to Caitie’s “controlled chaos”- these two are the perfect mixture of sugar and spice. After Erika got married, they enjoyed having the same last name... for awhile, anyway!

Kendra officially joined the Smith family in November of 2023 when she married Caitie's big brother Blain. Somehow, after meeting some pretty eccentric characters known collectively as family, she stuck around and provided Caitie with that much-needed break of “raising” Blain. Now, Kendra has another younger sister to annoy her daily and Caitie finally got the big sister she’d always previously reserved for Kimberly, the Pink Ranger.

Cole's best buddy "Squill"... Another connection built by hyperactivity and mostly harmless shenanigans. Will and Cole grew from high school buddies to down-the-street neighbors, with that growth has also come a true-tested friendship- so true, the two will argue even though Cole knows he’s wrong and Will knows Cole knows, but he just wants to get under his skin. And the process repeats. Enjoy this picture as they ate incredibly hot chili and tried not to cry.

Bonded by their brothers being born four days apart and also best friends, Caitie and Lindsey continually prove you can be sisters without being related.

Missy's had Caitie's back her whole life- being the big cousin who taught her it's okay not to wear pink or play with dolls. Although over 10 years apart, these two gave their grandparents quite the fit growing up, and proudly bare namesakes of both to let the legacies live on.

The other half of the "Twin Towers", JStreet and Cole roomed together in college. The two bonded over always being someone you could “look up to.”

Caitie and Kimberlynn bonded right away after Kim joined the WV Lottery team. The two "youngins" clicked instantly and have been best friends ever since. Some even questioned if they knew each other prior because of their immediate connection, but both girls just credit that to a love of Morgan Wallen, 40 oz tumblers, and Mexican food.

Although Stout was Cole's basketball coach for many seasons, their friendship extends far beyond the court. Stout has seen "way too many things”, told “far too many stories”, and has most importantly, helped shaped the man Cole has grown into today.

First brought together by the flattering orange aprons of Home Depot and common dislike for their immediate supervisor at the time, Perry and Cole later became Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity brothers and so began years of doing things we can't reveal on this page.

Caitie and Poppy met playing slow pitch softball- be sure to ask Poppy about the game Caitie got a black eye AND bruised shin!- but their friendship extended beyond the diamond as the two bonded at a Riley Green concert and became even closer over monthly pedicure dates and late night Instagram reel-sending sprees. One of the most loyal and caring people Caitie has ever met, Poppy called the engagement just weeks before the fateful, mud-filled marriage proposal.

Cole and Gabe first met through Squill, but their friendship grew over a mutual love for their Toyota Camrys, gaming (of course), and just straight "participating in tomfoolery". The two have bonded over a newfound love of learning the game of golf, which may or may not include a few swing-and-misses along the way.
