Are the ceremony and reception outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony and reception are outdoors. If it is not raining, the ceremony will be in a grass field. If it is raining, it will be under a covered pavilion with carpeted flooring. The reception will be under a covered pavilion with carpeted flooring regardless of weather.

Will transportation be provided?
Answer
If you are staying at Homewood Suites by Hilton, there is a shuttle available for guests to use on a first come, first served basis which will bring you anywhere within 5 miles (Tunxis is included in this range). When needing a ride, just call the front desk at 860-321-0000. Otherwise, an event code is also available for use with Lyft. After downloading the app, enter your destination. When choosing the form of payment, simply select 'Add Promo Code' and enter 'THESANDERS'. Then, continue confirming your ride. This $20 voucher, available from 1PM - 9PM, offers rides between Tunxis Country Club and Homewood Suites by Hilton. Guests are also welcome to drive themselves and are able to leave cars at the venue overnight, if needed.

Will there be an after party gathering?
Answer
Everyone is welcome to join the bride and groom at the hotel's courtyard after the reception. A variety of drinks will be provided but if there is something specific that you enjoy sipping on, please feel free to bring what you would like.

Where do I park?
Answer
The ceremony and reception will take place at The Pavilion at Tunxis Country Club. By putting Tunxis Country Club into the GPS, it will bring you to the correct parking lot. When you enter the parking lot, there will be a sign that points right, towards The Pavilion. Make that right and drive down as far as you possibly can.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony will start promptly at 2:00PM. We ask that you arrive 15-20 minutes before! If you are late and the ceremony has begun, please just head up towards the pavilion.

What's the bar situation?
Answer
We will provide a full open bar with spirits, beer, cocktails, and a selection of red and white wines. We will also have multiple non-alcoholic options and coffee.

Can I take pictures throughout the ceremony?
Answer
We request that you silence phones during this time. We have hired photographers and videographers to capture this special moment and we can send you any pictures upon request. During cocktail hour and reception, please feel free to take as many pictures as you would like!
