We've known each other since elementary school... but our love story didn't begin until high school in the summer of 2017. We started texting and talking more and eventually went on our first date at Browns Run Trail. We didn't hold hands and someone may have nearly got maced... but it was still the BEST day. About a month later, on July 6, 2017, we were boyfriend and girlfriend. We dated the rest of high school, always at each other's basketball/soccer/baseball games or school musical. We went to every high school dance together and eventually got to see each other graduate. After high school, we both attended the greatest college of all time... PENN STATE. It was both of our first times away from home but being there together only brought us closer. We always say that those few years were some of the most fun we'll ever have! Colby graduated as a Civil Engineer and started his career designing bridges. Alaina went on to Physician Assistant school, recently graduated, and is now working as an oncology PA. During these years, the greatest day of their lives this far happened... THE DAY WE GOT ENGAGED! On May 18th, 2024 Colby proposed in the most perfect way at Ohiopyle State Park! We spent the rest of the day celebrating with our closest family and friends. It's a day we'll remember forever! We're now planning our wedding and future together! It's been an amazing journey, and we can't wait to celebrate with all of you on our WEDDING DAY April 25, 2026!
