Plaza Bagel & Deli Corporation
This is our spot for a breakfast sandwich on a delicious NY bagel. It is a couple of blocks away from Our Lady Queen of Peace Church so if you are looking for a quick bite to eat before the ceremony, this is it. Just go to the back, choose your bagel, and hand it to the guy behind the deli counter with your order. Our go-to is sausage, egg, and cheese on an egg everything bagel with ketchup.
SIPS + MAKER
Great place to grab a really good cup of coffee and is right near the church. Bonus - my plant hangers are in their display window!
Staten Island Ferry
If you would like to sit back for 25 minutes, drink a beer out of a brown paper bag, and see the Statue of Liberty along with breathtaking views of Manhattan I would suggest you ride the Staten Island Ferry. Best of all - it's free! We recommend standing outside and having your camera ready.

The go-to SI spot for some good NY pizza.
Eggers Homemade Ice Cream
If you are looking to eat some delicious ice cream while also feeling like you are in an old-timey movie, this is the place. It is located in Historic Richmond Town and if you have time, I would definitely explore the area.
Fort Wadsworth
Fort Wadsworth was built in 1663 and is a former U.S. military installation. It overlooks the Verazzano Bridge and offers gorgeous views of the New York Harbor. We suggest grabbing a sandwich and enjoying it here. Bonus, you may even see some wandering goats.
