Meet the special people who will be standing by our sides when we say "I do"!

Bridget Hogan

Maid of Honor

I couldn't say "I do" without my bestie girl standing next to me! I'm so thankful to have Bridget as a friend for the past 15+ years. Bridget is one of the most selfless people I know and one of the most amazing friends a person can have. I know that no matter what happens, I can always count on Bridget being there when I need her most (kind of like the time I hit a car at dunkin when I was 16, or the time I got 2 flat tires, or the time I lost my keys on the train....LOL). She has truly been with me through it all and I could not imagine my life without a Bridgey in it. Thank you for supporting me through our friendship and now perfectly in this moment!

Ryan Black

Best Man

Ryan's had my back since snickering our way through science class as baby-faced high school freshman. Whether it's letting me borrow his car (with zero notice, mind you) to drive to Pulaski, VA for some mandatory extra-curriculars, spotting me at innumerable bartops, or just being there to listen when things would get me really down. Ryan is as dependable a friend as they come. His unwavering support means more to me that he knows. We have experienced a lot of what growing up is together, and I wouldn't want it any other way. Cheers, Shnaz, this will no doubt be another highlight in the long reel of incredible memories we've already made.

Katie Winslow

Bridesmaid

I feel so fortunate to have met Katie in grad school! She has truly made me a better person and fills my life with so much joy! Thanks for always assuming I have everything under control, even when I almost drive away with coffee on the top of my car or when I accidentally have my headphones in during class. Katie and I could spend an entire day together in silence and somehow I'd still feel like I had the best day ever. That's how much Katie's presence means to me! This being said, I am so excited to have her by my side during this exciting moment in my life!

Noah Gendron

Best Man

How far we've come from teens terrorizing the streets of Poquoson, VA atop "gnarly" longboards, rolling from house to house unannounced just expecting people to drop what they were doing and hang out (sorry, T). When we weren't out raising hell, Noah was my conscience, never hesitating to let me know when I screwed up, the way a best friend should. Since then, he's remained a truly stand-up guy. His incredible enthusiasm towards life and steadfast honesty are two of many reasons I look up to him. June 1st would be incomplete without him at my side. Also, he completely dominates the dance floor. Can't wait to let the good times roll, Dron.

Rachel Cohen

Bridesmaid

I never grew up with a sister so having Rachel, my sister-in-law, by my side is so exciting! love sharing moments with her laughing and picking on my brother. I'm thankful I have Rachel in my life now for a lot of reasons, but especially because I know she can answer all of my crazy medical questions. LOL. I can't wait to continue making memories with her now that she is officially in the family. After having the most amazing time being close to Rachel when she said "I do", it only felt right to get to share that moment with her again on my day!

Matthew Titlow

Groomsman

T (because who calls him Matt) is easily my oldest friend who will be in attendance. We've grown up together. Horrible little league teams (go B Clawz), baseball tournaments (Renegaaaaades), terrorizing middle school faculty (Miss Kipps we're sorry), and many, many hours above the garage losing it to Will Ferrell, 2K games, and each other's weirdness. They say great minds think alike, and in our case that is half true. Though we have so many shared interests (our Wikipedia searches definitely overlap), his mind is hands down greater than mine. There's also a reason he plans most friend gatherings. He is thoughtful and attentive to maintaining the great relationships he has. Cheers to the rest of a lifelong friendship, T.

Lizzie Herring

Bridesmaid

On top of being one of my best friends, Lizzie is the reason Michael and I spent that weekend at Lake Gaston together back in 2018. I am forever thankful for her and our friendship. Nothing will ever replace the bond we had during all of those sunday scaries sleepovers, ahh what a time. Lizzie is one of the most fun people I know and she constantly inspires me to be confident and to be myself. What more do you need in a friend?

Eric Massengill

Groomsman

Eight pylons. Two dudes. One pack of black and milds. I doubt either of us knew going out in a group that crisp, freshman fall night that we would end up rooming with each other every single year after. Sometimes all it takes to kick off a chain of great memories is 18 year-old (and somehow already a has-been) Nestor going, "Hey, you play football?". But seriously, I'm thankful to say that Eric has been a staple in my life since. We've had countless laughs and close scrapes, and at his core he is a truly generous guy whose door I know is always open. Cheers, big dog. What do you say we save money on cigars June 1st and hit a 7-Eleven?

Alexandra Wright

Bridesmaid

From playing in the dirt at 5 years old to joining a baseball team as the only girls on the team, Alexandra and I go way back. Great memories of our 18 hour road trips to Florida and "interviewing" random people with a flip camera on a highway in stand still traffic during a tornado. We somehow have become full grown adults and still laugh at all of our stupid jokes from when we were 8 years old. I could not stand up at the altar without you nearby! Love ya AJW!

Dan Schmidt

Groomsman

For a while, Dan was just my chilled-out, Les Paul-shredding, occasional 40 oz-sharing dorm neighbor. Over time, we'd see him more and more. Partying in the apartment sophomore year, grabbing some food a dreary Sunday after. Then, he subleased a room in our junior year abode, and the rest was history. I can't speak for him (and don't ask him either, this is my day, okay?) but we clicked instantly. Whether it was too-deep talks over stubbiez at Champs, or sleepless nights falling down a recursive YouTube rabbit hole, I knew Dan was a kindred spirit when at times I felt a little early-twenties disillusionment. My only regret is that I didn't get to know how great a person he was earlier. Cheers, brother.

Emily Viret

Bridesmaid

Although we didn't meet until later in college, Emily instantly became one of my best friends. She is thoughtful and always makes me laugh. Emily really appreciates the little things, like the duck sticker we ripped in half to put on our computers so when we lined them they would complete the picture, good times! I take pride in surrounding myself with people who are passionate and hardworking, and Emily truly embodies that!

Michael Kane

Groomsman

Kane (or Kahhhn after a few libations) was first making me laugh as far back as the third grade. I'd go over to his house on occasion, where he'd proceed to drop a football on the floor of his trampoline before bull rushing/pile driving me when I made the mistake of picking it up. And you know what, it was actually a lot of fun. Fast forward 12-ish years to Virginia Tech, and you can pretty easily extrapolate the kinds of things we got into. But for as rambunctious as Kane can get, he is tenfold kind, driven, and hard-working. His excitability and work ethic affect me positively, which is all you can ask for in a friend. Cheers, Kanee the Attendee.

Brittany Freifeld

Bridesmaid

I still laugh when I think about coming to your house (where you conveniently lived on the same road as me) and playing with dolls in that cubby by your bed, or when we used to have underwater "tea parties" in grandma and grandpas pool and we'd swim until we turned into pruney raisins. Family is so important to me and I'm so glad I am getting to share this special day with you! Love you!

Rachel Kerner

Bridesmaid

Rachel is one of the silliest people I know and she is constantly making everyone around her laugh and feel loved. We have shared so many memorable times over the past 13+ years that I will cherish forever, like the time she fell asleep on the way to Florida mid stitch of a friendship bracelet with her hands still wrapped around the string. She'll never live that one down! I know that no matter how long we go without seeing each other, we will always come back together feeling like no time has passed. I can't wait to have her close by when I say "I do"!
