• Go to the Oregon Zoo to see the Red Panda (John doesn’t believe they have one)
• Go check out Providence Park (it makes Emilie happy). Sorry, no soccer games this weekend…
• Explore Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) for some educational fun meant for kids…but equally fun for adults.
• Feeling adventurous? Pick a hike in the Columbia River Gorge or Mt. Hood! We have plenty of recs for you, but they won’t all fit on this page.
• Want to enjoy nature but don’t want to hike? Try the Japanese Gardens, the Rose Garden, or take a drive through the Columbia River Gorge.
• Try some of the excellent Portland restaurants and breweries! Breakside Brewery, Luc Lac, Westgate Bourbon House, Ex Novo Brewery, Loyal Legion, Fat City Café, Marco’s Café, Thirsty Lion, and Bethany Pub are some of our favorites.
