Are children invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is strictly an adults-only occasion with an exception to those children in the wedding. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

In order to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, only the guests formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accommodated. If you received a plus one they will appear when you RSVP.

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

We ask that all guests wear semi-formal or cocktail attire. Pastel colors are encouraged, but not mandatory. Ladies, please refrain from wearing colors reserved for the bride — white, ivory, or champagne tones. Thank you!

Can we take our own pictures + videos throughout the day?

Answer

Our ceremony will be unplugged. For this, we ask all phones and cameras to be put away and there to be no pictures or videos taken! You are more than welcome to take photos + videos throughout the course of the reception! This is such a special day for us and we have the most amazing photography team documenting our entire day, that way you are able to take it all in, celebrate, and be in the moment with us!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time to find parking and your seat. The ceremony will begin at 5 PM so plan to arrive by 4:30. Once the ceremony begins, entrance will not be granted until the ceremony is completed.

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes, there is onsite parking! However, you cannot leave cars in the parking lot overnight. Please plan accordingly with carpooling. Ubers or safe rides home from the venue are also encouraged.

Will the ceremony and reception take place outdoors?

Answer

Yes, both the ceremony and reception will take place outdoors. Please dress accordingly and make sure to check weather conditions leading up to the event! Additionally, please keep in mind that the venue primarily has grass and gravel terrain.

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you. There will be a selection of beer and wine as well as two signature cocktails to choose from at the bar. We have waited a long time for this day so please be respectful and party accordingly!

Bar Rules and Regulations

Answer

The Duncan Estate does not allow the unapproved consumption of alcoholic beverages by any guest, regardless of age, in any areas outside or away from the venue. Drinking in designated parking areas or areas outside of the view of The Duncan Estate staff will not be tolerated. Duncan Estate has a zero-tolerance policy for guests bringing outside alcohol of any kind.
