Why did we choose Banff?

Answer

Our most memorable vacations have been in the Rocky Mountains and in national parks. The town of Banff is technically situated in the middle of the national park, so it seemed like a no-brainer. We have never been to Banff and our wedding will be our first time visiting. 😇

What is the dress code?

Answer

Funky Formal: Wear floor-length gowns or formal cocktail dresses, tuxes with neckties or bowties. Lean into mid century modern bold colors, retro prints, sequins, and fun accessories! In October, temperatures can range from 30°F-60°F. Our ceremony will be short, but it will be outside. With that being said, dress warm. Fur coats encouraged!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

If your child was listed on the invitation, yes. If not, enjoy the night off! For child care recommendations, please visit myhotelsitter.com or childcarebanff.com. If you would like to coordinate with other wedding guests and are unsure who has children, please text ToniAnn or Cody! We hope you are able to plan childcare ahead of time to celebrate with us for the night.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to space constraints, we can only accommodate named guests on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you join us for an unplugged ceremony. We’ve hired an amazing photographer to capture all the important moments, and we'd love for her to be able to do so without needing to edit around phones in the aisle. :)

What is the currency?

Answer

Canadian dollars (CAD), which is roughly 70% of the USD. In other words, your US dollar goes further in Canada. Yay!

Will ToniAnn be taking Cody's last name?

Answer

ToniAnn is formally keeping her last name, but we’re happily answering to Mr. & Mrs. Hooker anytime. 🙂

How did we meet?

Answer

We met in passing in 2013/2014 because our sorority and fraternities did a lot of social events and parties together. We reconnected at the Widespread Panic 2018 New Years Eve run where we fittingly spent set break talking about the politics and the state of the world. After that weekend, ToniAnn slid into Cody's DMs and the rest is history.
