Thu and Cody met while waiting in line to get tickets for UCLA's 2013 Bruin Bash concert. It was a sunny weekend in September 2013 and the Hill was bustling with freshmen moving into their dorms for the first time. Being the social butterfly that he was, he initiated a conversation with her and then got her number that same day. He offered her parmesan cheese flavored goldfish crackers, which left a great impression on her because she hated the flavor. A couple of nights later, she ran into him in the game room of her dorm hall and the rest was history. They became friends along with the rest of their Wolf-Pack friend group and started dating in their third year in 2016. They graduated together in 2017 and have continued their journey tackling life together one Disney park at at time.
