Our story began at UTSA Best Fest, where fate brought two souls together whom were destined for something extraordinary. Sarai, initially hesitant about attending, found herself drawn to the event by the loving encouragement of her grandmother. On the other hand, Cody, seeking new experiences, decided to seize the opportunity. As Sarai arrived, she was warmly welcomed by her friend Steven, who introduced her to his companions Joseph, Mando, and Cody. Together they all explored the various stands filled with delicious food, refreshing drinks, and games. Amidst the festivities, Steven occasionally wandered off to greet other acquaintances, leaving Sarai in the company of these newfound friends. During a brief absence by Steven the conversation turned to basketball. Joseph couldn't resist posing a playful question to Sarai. With a mischievous smile, he asked, “Out of Cody, Mando, and myself, who do you think excels at basketball”? Sarai, unaware of the hidden talents within the group suggested Mando. The group erupted with laughter, with Cody and Joseph amused by Sarai's unexpected choice. Awhile later Steven and Sarai left to an aguas fresca stand. Steven left Sarai with his aguas fresca, assuring her that he would return shortly after greeting another friend. As Sarai rejoined Joseph, Mando, and Cody they asked about Steven went. Sarai explained that he had gone to catch up with more friends and would be back soon. Engaging in conversation, Mando asked where they had gotten the drinks Sarai shared where they got the drinks from. Sarai pointed towards the nearby stand, mentioning the delicious samples they offered. Curiosity getting the better of them, Joseph and Mando ventured towards the stand, leaving Sarai and Cody alone. Seizing the opportunity to connect further, Cody initiated a conversation, about Sarai's experience at UTSA and her chosen field of study. Sarai expressed her fondness for the university, sharing her pursuit of psychology. They spoke deeper about their academic journeys. Soon the rest of the group rejoined and their exploration of the event continued. Visiting various stands and immersing themselves in the festivities. As the evening drew to a close, they took stock of their remaining tickets, suggesting that Cody use them to purchase an additional beer. However, Cody politely declined, expressing his desire not to indulge excessively. Sarai couldn't help but question Cody's response. "Since when?" she playfully joked. Well aware that Cody had already indulged in multiple beers. Later that night Sarai received an unexpected call from Steven. To her surprise, Steven told her his friend Cody was interest in her personality and wanted her Snapchat username. Sarai couldn't help but chuckle and exclaimed, "What personality?! He only asked about my major!" Despite her initial amusement she agreed to the Snapchat exchange. Unknowingly, setting the stage for the beginning of a beautiful journey that would shape the rest of their lives.

Con una sonrisa traviesa, preguntó: “De Cody, Mando y yo, ¿quién crees que sobresale en el baloncesto”? Sarai, inconsciente de los talentos ocultos dentro del grupo, sugirió a Mando.
