We both worked in Laguna Beach for years but never crossed paths. Then, as fate would have it, we both took jobs at a place on Ocean Avenue to help out a friend. The restaurant was Laguna Beach Brewery (the food was spectacular), and that’s when our paths finally crossed. Our eyes first met during a shift change, and the attraction was immediate. From there, it was a slow progression.
We had been talking about marriage for quite some time and we designed a ring together in Los Angeles in the diamond district. Mark had the ring made and proposed a few weeks later at Irvine Spectrum, Amelia was video taping!
We are so excited to have family and friends joining us from near and far. We will be working on updating the wedding website keeping all things current for those who are traveling. For those of you close by please plan to join us in the days leading up to the wedding for some fun and to help us welcome those traveling.
An unplugged ceremony is a wedding ceremony where guests are asked to not use their phones, cameras, or other recording devices. The goal is to keep guests present and in the moment, and to allow the photographer to get clear shots. We are paying a professional photographer to capture the moment. Please be mindful and courteous of our decision. All professional photos will be available to guests. Rest easy after the ceremony you may snap away. We will have a QR code for sharing.
