Maid of Honor
We sat next to each other in Chemistry 111 in college at NC State, and after I made a cheesy pun, we became instant best friends! We have seen each other through many seasons of life, and there isn't anyone else I would even dream of having as my Maid of Honor! She is the proud mama of a little turtle named Whale. Lauren's passions are anything related to dogs, and she recently discovered she has a green thumb! She is quite proud of her quickly expanding garden of succulents!
Jordan Scurlock
Best Man
Cody's close friend since middle school, Jordan is dear to both the bride and groom! He majored in Illustration at East Carolina University and is an incredibly talented artist, as well as a free spirit with an beautifully creative soul. Whether it's watching a bad movie, trying out new restaurants, or just hanging out at home, Jordan is perfect company for every occasion. Currently he works both in retail and as a free lance artist.

A coworker turned friend! We met working at the Duke Cancer Center Research Building and bonded quickly over our shared love of anime, Family Guy, and many other things! She is a lover of Japanese animation, drawing, and music. She is a pet mom to three crazy creatures, a dog named Cooper and two cats named Anakin and Midna. She is originally from Maryland, but moved to North Carolina with her husband because she loved the atmosphere.

Alysa and I met in a Beef Cattle Management class at NC State! We enjoyed our class together and later on worked as veterinary technicians together at a veterinary practice. She is currently attending Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine to obtain her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. She and her husband Luis spend their free time enjoying their pet Yorkie, Willy, as well as participating in car shows!

Cody's younger brother Ethan is currently a Computer Science Major at the University of Maryland and is enjoying the college life! We all can't wait to see where this degree will take him, but we know it will take him very far! In his spare time, he enjoys playing video games, working out, and playing guitar.

Cody's cousin Asher is currently a student at Alamance Community College pursuing a degree in Information Technology. Other than spending quality time with friends, enjoys playing video games, and driving!
Kathy Coe
Officiant
This elegant and charming lady is Eleanor's grandmother! After careers in teaching music, and journalism, she began her education in seminary and pastoral ministry. She is a graduate of Duke Divinity school, class of 2002, so of course she was the perfect choice of officiant to marry us in Duke Chapel! She enjoys writing poetry, playing piano, and is quite talented at quilting. She is an absolute delight to talk to, so be sure to strike up a conversation!
