Wedding Party

We are excited to introduce you to our friends and family who will help us tie the knot on September 10!

Stephanie Kempfer

Maid of Honor

Stephanie and I have been best friends for quite some time. We met volunteering at Girl Scout camp when we were in high school, which led to so many memories and laughs. From face cake races to getting stranded in Canada to college visits to Mizzou or Missouri State, it's never a dull moment when the two of us are together. We have been through a lot together, and I couldn't imagine anyone else to have by my side.

Scott Bertram

Best Man

Scott and I have known each other since our senior year in high school. We never really hung out, but shared some classes and spoke every once in awhile. Fast forward to freshman year of college and we ended up on the same floor of West Hall, and our friendship has grown ever since. My wedding would not be complete without having Scott by my side, so I am proud to call him one of my Best Men!

Leah Cornett

Matron of Honor

Leah and I also met at camp the same summer I met Steph. Over the years, Leah and I have convinced countless campers, parents, and staff members that we were twins, despite looking nothing alike. We've gone on numerous adventures, including going to England, racing to the Muny, and list could go on and on. In 2019, I was lucky enough to serve as Leah's Maid of Honor, so I instantly knew I wanted to have her as my Matron of Honor.

Nick Janson

Best Man

I met Nick back in 2013 through Scott during a visit to Wild Country (is it weird that I kinda miss that place?). Nick is just all around one of the best guys and is someone that I can always count on! We have had some great adventures in the past, and I can't wait to have him at the altar with me as one of my Best Men!

Stacie Boren

Bridesmaid

Another friendship started at camp, and continued in the "real world." Stacie and I ended our camp career together. When the weather is nice, you can find us walking our dogs, and I'm so excited that we are only 15 minutes apart now; Cody just might feel like our third wheel. If we can make it living in a van for three weeks in New Zealand, we can make it through anything. I couldn't think of a kinder person to have in my life.

Logan Stelly

Groomsman

Logan and I met while working at Centene. He started as an intern the day that I was promoted from intern to full time, so we immediately had a connection that would turn into more than just colleagues. Logan and I now work together at Edward Jones, and our friendship is still just as good. I knew I couldn't get married without Logan being involved!

Meghan Polley

Bridesmaid

As a kid, I always wished that I had a sister. Growing up as the only girl had it's advantages, but sometimes I just wanted a girls night with a big sister. In 2014, I officially gained that sister when my brother, Cody married Meghan. I had the privilege of serving as a bridesmaid for Meghan, that I thought it would only be fitting for her to return the favor.

Cody Polley

Groomsman

Since Cody P. and I are only 3 years apart in school, I always enjoyed having my big brother at school with me. He always knew how to make me laugh or cheer me up. I always enjoyed the mornings before school when we would turn on MTV or VH1 and watch music videos because we had to make that 3 minute drive to school. During Cody's senior year, my mom tasked me with taking pictures of him at school, which made Cody think I was his stalker. I honestly couldn't imagine this day without him.

Catie Butcher

Bridesmaid

Catie and I were the brother and sister who could never get along when our parents were around, but as soon as they were gone, we were best friends...except for that one time I threw a cue ball at her, and the other time she busted my lip with a door... :). I'm so happy that Caitlin asked her to be a bridesmaid to celebrate the big day with us!

Gabe Million

Groomsman

"What's for lunch?"...a common Skype message between Gabe and me when I worked at Centene (back in the dark days when office-life was a thing). Another work friendship turned into a real-life friendship. Gabe is always fun to be around and someone who will always be there for you so I had to make sure he was in my wedding!

Zeke Polley

Ring Bearer

Zeke is the oldest son of Cody and Meghan. He made me an aunt in 2016, and I could not have asked for a better nephew to teach me the ropes. He is quite the goofball and has some cool dance moves. I've been known to take a day off work just to hang out with this awesome kid. He has taught me so many things including construction vehicles, dinosaurs, and how to love unconditionally. I can never deny a request from this handsome dude, so I'm thrilled that he accepted the job.

Crosby Polley

Ring Bearer

Crosby is the second child of Cody and Meghan. When he was born in 2018, we all knew he was going to give us all a run for our money. As crazy as he is, I am lucky to get to call him not only my nephew but my godson. I love when I hear him call me "Tunnnne," and always look forward to our next adventure together. When we asked Crosby to be a ring bearer, he ripped off his shirt, put on the tie dye shirt as fast as he could, and happily accepted the job.

Cecelia Bertram

Flower Girl

Cecilia is the daughter of the Best Man, Scott. In the words of her momma, she is an angel baby. Let me just say that she is going to be the cutest Flower Girl ever!

Stewart Polley

Dog of Honor

Would it be a celebration without this handsome boy? I don't think so. Stewart is my best friend, and I couldn't imagine this day without him. I don't think Cody ever imagined himself as a dog person, but he sure loves this little guy.

Josiah Cornett

Usher

Josiah is the husband of Leah, the Matron of Honor. When I first met Josiah, I instantly knew that he was a patient and loving guy, and would be a great friend to have. Whether it's Cody and Josiah discussing the neighbor's grass or an intense game of Ticket to Ride, it's always a fun time.

Zach Jaeger

Usher

Zach is the husband of one of my good friends from high school, Katy! We've gotten close over the past 6 or so years after my 5 year high school reunion. Zach is just an all-around great guy, fun to be around, and I'm happy that I get to include him in the wedding!
