Formal Attire (Black Tie Optional) Guests are encouraged to wear attire that fits a black tie dress code, but this is optional. For men, they should wear a dark suit with a shirt and tie (if they don’t wish to wear a tuxedo). Women should wear a floor-length gown or knee-length cocktail dress, or pantsuit.
We're excited to celebrate this day with our closest friends and family and hope to keep the guest list limited. Please refrain from bringing a plus one unless specifically noted in your invitation.
Both will be held at The Upchurch in the Conservatory.
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event, not including those in the wedding party. This is so, that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
Both will be held indoors.
We recommend that guests arrive 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!
After the ceremony, the wedding party and family will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour and half. Guests can head straight to cocktail hour, which will be located at the Main House & Patio.
Yes! There will be beer, wine and liquor. Please do not bring your own alcohol onto the property. Come ready to have a good time, but please have transportation arranged to get home safely.
If you are planning to drink we encourage all guests to take an Uber, Lyft or Taxi. However, guests can park in the Main Parking lot only. It has around 70 parking spaces for those who intend to drive. Guests are welcome to leave their cars overnight at the Upchurch, but all cars must be picked up by 10:00am the next morning; otherwise, they will be towed.
Here is the address again, 7213 Roberts Rd, Cary, NC 27519. I understand most guests will put this in your GPS, but if you are confused on where to park at The Upchurch, please park in the bigger gravel lot (the Main Lot). The entrance will be decorated so it is not confused with the smaller gravel lot used for our vendors/bridal party.
Yes, we are so thankful to The Upchurch that the whole property is handicap accessible, please use the smaller gravel lot for drop off for those who may need assistance.
Of course! First we both thank you for the generous gift, plus there will be a gift table to drop off gifts and wedding cards at the Main House on the property.
RSVP deadline is April 1st. Guests may mail back the RSVP but they can do so online under the RSVP tab at the top of the website.
You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
